APC want to destroy the free environment that gave it the rise that fraudulently appealed to the conscience of Nigerians to vote them to power.

They know the power of liberty and free society they once rode on it to prominence and now want to completely cut it off so no one can rise again through it.

Now I see why the calls to sack all service cheifs have fall on deaf ears the abuse of power in this administration is getting too much.

Is APC trying to return us back to dictatorship or grow our democracy ?

LandMann:
PDP's penchant for always doing everything to promote corruption, hatred and division along religious and ethnic lines is quite repulsive.

They have the resources to fight a code seeking to penalize hate speech and fake news so as to weaken governance in Nigeria, and so that they can continue spreading all manner of fake news and hate speech through all the channels they have, but they can't devote same resources to pushing for a law that prescribes death penalty or life imprisonment with no option of pardon for public officials found guilty of corruption.

They keep reminding Nigerians daily of how corrupt APC is but they will never take a decisive step to end the corruption... They are mostly only interested in sewing hatred in the minds of Nigerians against the other party so that they can get the opportunity to grab power and continue the looting from where APC stopped.

Meanwhile, APC as a party has become all talk and no action. Buhari is supposed to be championing the fight against corruption head on because that's the only legacy he can leave behind, as he's already old and will soon join his ancestors... this he can do by asking the AGF to forward a bill to the national assembly seeking to strengthen the law and effect MAXIMUM punishment on public officials found guilty of corruption.

Unfortunately, he is either too docile, or surrounded by too many looters who will rather see Nigeria die a slow and painful death through their reckless looting than witness any meaningful progress in this geographical space.

APC needs to stop playing to the gallery... We see beyond the facade and fake fight against corruption.

PDP should equally up their game and tactics of opposition politics... They will continue to remain the second choice for majority of Nigerian voters if they continue this their nonsensical politics of looting and aiding corruption.

A society where corruption thrives can never witness any meaningful progress.

Thank you

@bold: It's more likely that he's the chief looting shareholder providing a viable looting platform for his cohorts, that's why he's absolutely comfortable with the status quo and even now demands that they defend his government at all costs.
