Sister please don't say that o. My daughter refused to eat this morning cos there was no bread. That thing helps with children who are picky eaters.
It's painful, but what can we do? It all boils down to a government that has refused to consider the plight of the common man. We will survive undecided

Just 50%? That is too cheap. Why not they make it 100%?

There is no poor man in Nigeria — make it more than 50%.
This is very true.

There's basically nothing that favours the masses right now, but the truth is that the same mistake is going to be made if given 5 opportunities or more. Our young bloods are shouting Tinubu, OUK, Atiku etc. In a country of over 190m people, power still rotates among the same set of people who have nothing to lose when they step down from their positions.

Youth wake up, don't let these old people dictate your future, the younger generation will blame you for not taking the bull by the horn when you had the opportunity. Most of these men won't be alive in the next 20yrs. You may be languishing in pain caused by them by that time.

You are right very correct and at the same time the few youths that took the step into politics like Yeye Bello, Elliot turned Segun in Lagos, remember that one in the North that turned klitchko in adult shop punching a woman etc so I think first our orienration need to be work on its absolutely horrible.

In NL here a particular guy is from Gboko in Benue his entire lineage was nearly wiped out by fula terrorist but this prodigal son of Gboko still saying yea its ok up Buhari, even Seun Osewa is a member of their gang their is no way these ones will be anything good if in govt position by chance because they are looking at party but not humanity.

God will help and redeem us all as youth majority of us had lost it.

Instead of protesting Niggerians will instead find a way to make money so they can afford it then mock people who can't afford it.
Soon people will be going on facebook to post their selfies ofthem eating bread.

Increase the price of bread by 50% and watch Nigerians boycott eating bread, then una bread industry would be running a colossal loss that would force cutting of workers, then finally the closure of the bakery, every time price of things increases in Nigeria, there’s never a time it decreases, we Africans are under a serious spell..

Instead of u to engage with the factors leading to increase in cost for the bakers, u seem to be blaming them

How do u want them to recover cost.

The prices of:

Electricity has gone up

Diesel has gone up

Flour has gone up

Sugar has gone up

Yet u want them to keep prices stable.

Next election, use ur vote wisely. If not, this will continue to happen

When u hear that our leaders are patronising foreign companies instead of local ones like Innoson and Proforce, if u support them, this is what happens. It leads to higher forex costs, which affects everyone, including u.

I hope u are not among the tribal warlords on nairaland.com that rejoice when innoson and Proforce and other local companies lose a contract. Because as u rejoice, our money is going to foreigners and paying their workers, while we are here and the price of bread is increasing

All nairaland.com tribal warlords, enjoy ur bread price increase.

Whether u are igbo, yoruba, hausa, efik, tiv, etc, u will suffer the same price increases.

Apc and pdp loyalists, u will all face the same

@OUTLAWwizard, hmm. You need a sense of history. The increase in price of bread was the immediate cause of the French Revolution on July 14,1789.
If this would spark a revolution here, so be it.Lightning will strike twice.

Increase in price of bread will spark a revolution? What kinda weed are you smoking?
