Fashola, Akinlabi, others to speak at SAS foundation Leadership Summit

The former first lady of Lagos state and the wife of the Minister for Works and housing, Mrs. Dame Abimbola Fashola, will be the Keynote Speaker for the Sarah Adebisi Sosan Foundation Youth Leadership Summit 2020 with the theme; Building Youth Leadership Skills For Active Involvement In Global Action To Overcome Present Challenges.

The Summit which is the 4th to be organised by the SAS foundation will be hosted on the videoconferencing platform, zoom and it will see other speakers discuss on the present challenges and the role of the youth towards turning them into opportunities.

According to a statement issued by the foundation, the summit will hold on 19th September, 2020 by 2:00pm West African Time and all participants will be reimbursed with internet data after the program.

The event will also have the former deputy governor of Lagos state, Mrs. Sarah Sosan, OFR, who is the founder of the Sarah Adebisi Sosan Foundation as the Chief Host.


Other speakers are, Mike Olu Akinlabi, PhD, a Senior Lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice department of Northumbria University, United Kingdom, Abiodun Essiet, the Special Adviser to the AMAC Chairman on ICT/Donor Agencies and CSOs, as well as Michael Thompson Showunmi, the Greatest Teacher / Global Inspiration and Mrs Hannah Oyebanjo, the CEO Nigeria of the Republicom Group/ MD, Redwood Consulting as the moderator.

So the invitation to speak in an event is not a major achievement in Nigeria
