What is this one saying...this are people way over 18 years that the university wants to control how they look and live their lives...phone they won't allow...a little freedom in dressing they won't allow...it's not about copying what is done abroad it's about treating the students with respect and dignity...this is why most Nigerian graduates still behave like mumu cos the school treats them like kids...and nothing like colonialism here because it's not only in the UK or US students are given freedom...it's all over the world...it's only in Nigeria it's done differently

yet their education is far superior to ours... how often do you see billionaires dress up in suits? we in this country care more of how you look than what you know, and that is why we are still a third world country....

How many CU graduates can stand beside Unilag, UI and OAU graduates with the non-qualified lecturers they have. It's in private unis you'd see ordinary B.Sc holder and M.Sc holders heading departments and Faculties. Such will never happen in a fed uni.

How many private uni offer Medicine and medical sciences courses? NONE.
Even the law and engineering they do is total rubbish. Half-baked graduates.

Adult edu is diff from pikin edu.

You people should stop deceiving yourselves with this narrative it has become very stale.

Private universities offer better qualitative education in Nigeria.

Besides when a graduate of a private uni tells you his age is 26 you will see it on his face but graduates of public uni who who spent additional 3 years in school due to strikes will graduate at 30+ and be claiming to be 26years old when it's time to go for job interviews!

I have had the opportunity of interviewing both graduates of private and public universities in Nigeria...the difference is clear like 7Up.

In everything we do in life, appearance matters, that is the first impression you gave to your listener before any other thing. No Nigerian university will allow him to defend his project with that appearance, even if they do, they will probably score him low in that area. Do you know that in Job interview or project defence/presentation, there is a score for appearance/dressing? When a fierce, shabby looking man and well kept looking man approached you, which one will you prefer to listen to?
