I don't support the chasing of someone to death but, a boy of about 21 year old, a phone repairer driving a car and while sighting on SARS, the rest is history. Please, decode!

No injustice here.
The police are in the right to chase fleeing suspects.
No court in the world will find them guilty unless there
are other issues we aren't privy to.

Chai, i weep for Nigerian's police, they are always involved in the death of the citizens. If they kill every body in the process of getting money from people, which life will they protect?

Is SARS responsible for his death?..... or is it the fast and furious driver that believed he can speed away and lost control of the car? He was a phone repairer.... did nothing illegal... but can she say the same of his friends? If they committed a crime then he is just as guilty because he was part of the group. What they should need to investigate is why they were targeted and chased.... if they were fraudsters....did SARS know that ? In the end.... they should not run from authority.... SARS will not be held responsible for his death.

Let's start from who actually owns the crashed car and what does that person do for a living. There was no way those young guys, four of them in their early twenties,wouldn't attract the attention of SARS or other security operatives for
routine questioning. No serious security agent overlooks four young guys in a car and assumes that all is well. Our police are corrupt,no doubt about it,but they have a duty to prevent and stop crimes. Therefore they can stop any motorist or anybody and ask questions if they have reasons to suspect anything.

If you own a car,especially a very good car,then you should expect police to stop you from time to time and ask you questions. This happens to me regularly and I don't see it as a big deal. It is a routine police duty and it won't stop for any reason whether or not we like it.

The question begging for answer is why were those guys running away from the police ? They gave those policemen enough reason already to conclude that they were criminals by running away. Police all over the world chase after anybody that runs away from them because they assume that such people have something to hide. It is unfortunate that Idris met his untimely death this way though. May his soul rest in peace.

If however Idris and his friends turn out to be "yahoo boys" as being speculated,I have no pity for anyone of them. These fraudsters (yahoo boys) and the corrupt politicians have damaged ,irreparably whatever reputation that's left of the name Nigeria. Those who travel regularly out of this country will understand what I'm talking about. Out there,they stereotype and assume every Nigerian is a criminal and that is truly painful !

Hey he wasn't murdered. He killed himself with his reckless driving. There was no need to run in the first place. He even placed others at risk with his careless driving and that's is if he didn't injure anyone.
