32-year old Andrea Brighenti is anything but a signing for the future at Juventus, yet the new arrival is to play with the club's Under 23 side in Serie C.

The Bianconeri's secondary side have signed the striker from Serie B outfit Monza, beating off interest from Palermo and Como.
The vast majority of his teammates will be nine years younger than him at the very minimum so there is a bit of "How do you do fellow kids?" about it - but the Under 23 team are allowed a select few over-age players so it is all legitimate.
They already have two 30-year-olds in goalkeeper Timothy Nocci and captain Raffaele Alcibiade in their squad, as well as Stefano Gori and Dario del Fabro, aged 24 and 25 respectively.

Now, this is a perfect example of "seniorman'(as we used to call them back in the day).

Maybe U23 squad was in dire need of a father or uncle figure so they decided to get him. Besides, he has a reasonable goal return for a lower division striker. I just checked him out.

And this also means a higher pay for him and possibly a career highest point. As you can see, he is beaming from ear to ear in that picture. Shows an elated man.
