Just like the Apostles of jesus .

Acts 4:13
Now when they saw the boldness and unfettered eloquence of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and untrained in the schools [common men with no educational advantages], they marveled; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus]

Going into church business does not require any special qualifications, just know how quote and twist the gospel to your benefit.

Luke 10:21 (KJV)

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

How many present day church leaders would have been able to perceive this and rejoiced as Jesus did on this occasion?

It would take only those who orientation are in sync with God as that of Jesus was. And such ones are hard to come by.

God has not changed His way of doing things and He would never change regardless of the changing systems of the world and even the church.

Apart from those of Nigeria, there are men like Smith Wiggleworth, Kathryn Kulman, Reinhard Bonnke, Benny Hinn etc. some of them now late, who also fall into the same category, and these ones more or less re the height of works and power in their days.

God never follows men, it's men that ought to follow God. And unless men begin to follow God the way Jesus did, they would continue to walk alone.

There's a reason why the church Jesus built with such men was filled with so much power and the Holy Ghost. It was because it corresponded with how God loved to do His things.

Lord help me to walk in sync with your ways as my Master Jesus did. Amen!

Odumeje is not a servant of God, neither is he a Pastor.

Common sense is what is needed to become a pastor, but in a country like Nigeria university education has become what is required.
Why?
Because the logic in bible is too much for a mere Nigerian pastor to understand
