I doubt if anyone here could remember the evening TY program called " Riddles and hopes" back then.

It was like late 80s.
It had this vindictive character called Mr Shanana who envied a much younger star worker named Nasiru and always schemed to get him fired at work.
Funny enough, his plans would always fail as the gods had Nasiru's back.

It was sponsored by Nasco foods and i think shot in Plateau state.

We didn't have Generators then but we were always watching them.

Wow! shocked

The Good ol' days.

Reminiscent time.........

Memories running down...........

We will always remember this line from Checkmate till the end of time,
(between a father at the balcony looking at his daughter swimming in the pool below......)

"Kofoworola Baker, are you having fun down there?

Yes Daddy, wanna join me?

No Princess,

Anything you say Daddy...........Love you!!
"

Awwwwww, memories are made of this!! kiss kiss kiss

Zebrudaya, Alias 4.30 just came to mind rn also.
Wow!
Simply wow!
Gone are those days,
When men were boys,
When women were girls,
And when virginity was...........sweet! cool
I think kofoworola Baker is in PALACE

2 OPEN AND CLOSE

Theme song:

The lion claims to be king, king of the jungle..
but when the jungle is on fire, the lion will be on the run.
can the lion be greater than the jungle....
ho ho ho Dance of chance.

VERSE 2

....If a man cooks for the public, the public will finish the food,
but if the public cooks for one man, he cannot finish the food.

It's a dance dance, dance if shame, its a dance dsnce of shame.
