I sincerely want to believe that it is not pa Buhari that is taking all this bizzare decisions against or for Nigeria as he will not be too mean against Nigerians. My believe is that there could be a Nigerien in Aso Rock as since is quite clear that everybody in Aso Rock are now the president of Nigeria. Otherwise, how can pa Buhari build rail line to Niger when none in Nigeria. Those that knows what to do should stop this deadly game against Nigerians as this is playing with the sensibilities of Nigerians. Whoever is doing this did not borrow to feed poor Nigerians during Covid-19 nor did they give to us the 21b$ world bank gave to the poor for Covid-19 palliative but borrowing to run rail line to Niger, ""this is robbing Peter to pay Paul"". The world bank had already told whoever that is there to use the poverty strinking Nigerian citizens as collateral to get loan from them by increasing electricity tarrif for darkness or how else should one explain this? I say thank you to world bank. 1 Like |

Not bad, it like that in Europe country. Isaiah 55:6-7 KJV Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord , and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. |

PHIPEX: BigSarah: Enudapan: I find this argument similar to the "why do we export electricity to Niger... why did we spend all that money on transmission lines to the border with Niger"? Anybody want to guess how Niger get its imported goods today? Niger does not have a seaport, and heavy/dangerous goods bound for Niger (e.g lorries, cars, electronics, industrial chemicals, machinery) don't fly in. The Niger River isn't yet fully dredged for their goods to come in over water (yet). That's right, they import by road all the way from Cotonou, Apapa, and Port Harcourt... and now the plan is those goods will be carried by train, with Niger probably paying for freight, as opposed to using our roads "for free". Niger will also build their side of the rail. As for why no rail to East... aren't we seeing seaports being opened up and rehabilitated? Onne, Warri, PH, Calabar. Why rail from Apapa to Calabar if Calabar has a seaport. https://www.nairaland.com/6057000/onne-seaport-welcomes-biggest-ship Yes we need rail to connect all of the country, and it's happening, albeit slowly. We also need rail to connect the continent. 3 Likes |

It's a smuggling route for the biggest smuggler in nigeria, and major sponsor of Buhari Campaigns, Alhaji Dahiru Mangal Former EFCC customer and smuggler of all things illegal has become CON, legitimate business man and recognized in Aso rock. The rail was supposed to go all the way to Maradi, but because Nigerians are shouting they are saying border. But the border is not Maradi, it is Jibia. Maradi is the economic capital of Niger from where they smuggle sh*it into Nigeria. It's also the route of voters they ship into nigeria during elections. The rail would have made it easier. Thank God nigerians are not accepting everything 7 Likes 1 Share |

They always complain about inadequate financial resources, and yet the little they have (choose to borrow) is wasted on freakishly capital intensive unnecessary projects instead of being funneled into things that actually matter. But then again, you shouldn't expect better from individuals who are utterly clueless on what to do. Individuals who gleefully slash the budgets for education and health, so this shouldn't surprise anyone. 2 Likes |

Re: Garba Shehu: FG Is Building Rail Line To Border Point not Into Niger Republic by nextstep(m): 7:54pm On Sep 24, 2020 |
sureinfo: Niger imports via roads from Apapa and PH today. This railway will encourage more goods to travel over rail. Once you have it, so many stops along the way will also benefit. |

I only pity the yorubas that keeps supporting this terrorist Federal Government. Who doesn't know that Buhari is from Niger and he is doing all he can to rip Nigeria off once he leaves office. The last time we heard Niger is exporting refined petroleum to Nigeria, Now Buhari is building rail to connect Niger. Who owns those refineries in Niger? Are they not fulani politicians killing Nigerian refineries so that the ones they stole our monies to build in Niger will be the sole importer of fuel to Nigeria? by the time Buhari is finished, APC will be gone, Nigeria will be sold to the Fulanis. The yorubas might be the biggest losers! |
