Once anybody decides to be willfully blind, no matter what you push in front of his eyes, he wouldn't see. If he decides to be willfully deaf, even if there are thunder coming from his village sounding beside his ear, he won't hear!

So you didn’t see where Nigeria was categorised as a STATE SPONSORED TERRORISTS COUNTRY. When, in the annals of this country was it ever regarded as such? Don’t blindly and sheepishly defend the indefensible.

Why wasn’t neighboring African countries included in the list? Don’t be blind. Be reasonable please

Somehow Nigeria managed to be ranked 3rd most volatile country in the world.

1. Iraq

2. Afghanistan

3. NIGERIA

These type of restrictions should come as no surprise.

It's bleeped up but it's to be expected

all these US policies keeps telling us indirectly to build our own nation! when we finally do other nations would respect us. both the lootie and the looter want to go to the US. those who occupy juicy positions in Nigeria send children abroad with the hard earned money they stole or suffered to gather, some even took loans sef from company cooperative to finance children's education abroad just to give their wards a hedge in life. Even now that's things would be more difficult same salary! some salary reduction or reduced business activity, increasing exchange rate, limited availability of forex, now this one. being attacked on all sides on top ur sweat. make we build our country we no gree, everyodi wan japa! nowahala. Chinese are ready to buy our seaport, airport, refinery, lands, power sector, transport sector, mining and what have u!

Read the article, they gave two reasons

" Among the countries targeted in the new policy are those on the US “State sponsor of terrorism list” and students from countries that visitors have overstay rate of more than 10 percent. "

Hilarious.

And of course all the third world cretins will be crying 'discrimination' whilst doing nothing to fix their own countries.

Just saw this on Twitter. Part of the Trump administration's racist policies.

It's important to note that under these proposals, you can still study for a four year degree as a Nigerian but you will have to renew your visa after every 2 years.
You are not a serious man, somebody is doing what he thinks is best for his country and you're here ranting rubbish. Sometimes most of you talk as though you have a stake in the U.S.

I don't see anything racism here. it's about people who reason and put their country and people first. Why are Africans always crying racism? White is also a race. White don't they cry black racism against them. That's cus they have been able to do build themselves that it looks as if they don't need us but we always need them. and once they deny us black man starts crying racism. Are you the only race in the world? Why make yours inferior and then depend on another and cry a victim always.

America has to take care of their citizens first. You can't call them racist because they refused to allow foreigners take over their country's resources and wealth.

The security issue is also a big headache. The middle eastern radicals and Mexican gangs cannot be allowed to continue to infiltrate the country. Black gangs are enough problem for the States. They don't need to also import violent criminals all for the sake of not being called "racists"

They have the needy and poor to tend to. I can't give all my money to my neighbors while my children are hungry just so they won't call me racist. That's rubbish thinking.

Develop your own country so you can also take pride in it and stop looking for handouts from America. And stop calling people racist without proof just cos they're trying to defend their country.

When did things get so bad? Why must students be at the recieving end for prevalent situations in their home country? Young peoples' dreams are at stake here:Forcing people out of their desired courses has drastic effect on their motivation.Nothing is bad if leaders meet in persons to profer solutions to issues. The US we knew was so welcoming, foreign students were well catered for and attached to home-parents in their study location.I will keep saying this,we let ourselves down in the eyes of foriegn nations, now they treat us with disdain but we will rise again.Nigeria will surely be great again for the sake of our children!

What is racist about the policy? Several other countries have similar policy. I studied in Japan under similar policy about 20 years ago.
