Please stop adding Anambra in your Nigerian state comparisons. Anambra doesn't like being compared to Nigerian states, we measure with countries as evident in one of our cities "Onitsha" holding her stand as the 7th most urbanized city in Africa among fellow capitals of other countries

Anambra is something else, if care is not taken , in a post oil era, Anambra will be the most viable , feasible and functional state , this is one reason i believe the useless satanist in power with their demonic supporters down south want to use an illegal constitution to take over the control of all rivers in Nigeria

States like Abia, Benue and Kaduna should be atop, but I don't know why their leaders over the years choose to be very unfortunate..

Anambra will always lead in everything, despite having no federal presence. While Lagos and OGUN are there because of the many Nigerian interests in them. Despite these advantages seen in Lagos yet Anambra bests it in this important economic matrix. Shame on Lagosians!!!.

Anambra scored 94 and second position after Rivers, the state also ranked lowest in unemployment rate last month.

This is where the koko lies. The Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu in the top 10. Imo at 11th position.

What this means is that Eastern states are well managed and are ready for post oil economy. Igbos are hard working. We built up our cities and we can hold our own if left alone.

A nation is as prosperous as the mentality of its citizens. Without Oil derivation, federal infrastructure and help Anambra kept flying the flag of the East. Proudly representing the resilient spirit of Igbos. Ebonyi is keenly following us and we are proud of them.

The main issue with those states is that they spend too much on recurrent expenditure with their over bloated civil service which explained why they will be rated low on this metrics.

If we remove Federal Allocation and rate the states by their IGR and VAT alone, we can see that this is the top 10 state with the highest revenue outside FG Allocation.

Lagos
Rivers
Ogun
Delta
Kano
Kaduna
Oyo
Edo
Ondo
Enugu

This means these states generate the highest revenue outside Federal Allocation.

However some of these states have too much recurrent expenditure to service, a case of Oyo state where they spent 113 billion on recurrent expenditure as against Enugu that spent like 61billion for example.

These governors need to know why all this recurrent expenditure is this high, is it that there is over bloated civil service or ghost workers are adding to the numbers affecting these stats.

If they can fix that, then all this sustainability index analysis will tilt based on any given year and it is not much of a big deal but need great attention.

Another thing is debt, while debt itself is not a bad thing, they should make use of it to build infrastructures and not just squander it on irrelevant things.

It's not by quoting high igr. What we have is mainly indigenous investors in the East, we can't afford to task the hell out of them in order to brag about irrelevant things.

Trust me, this is how things will turn out if oil dries up. Only the resilient will survive it.

I’m not here to impress anybody, I’ve mentioned it in my post too about debt contributing to it too.

Recurrent expenditure is almost same as Oyo state debt which is a great concern because the government have to look into their spending on recurrent expenditure.

A state with 113billion recurrent expenditure and 120billion as outstanding debt need to sit down and check what is happening with their overbloated civil service and other spendings.

Do you mean most of the 113 recurrent expenditure on Oyo is due to the fact that they are servicing loans? Are you sure you are okay? Oyo State is not even in the top 10 of states with highest debt so your theory hold no water.
