Irukka Online Ltd, one of the biggest online retail mall is Nigeria has signed a franchise agreement with the producers of Sweet Charlie's Ice cream.

Sweet Charlie's Ice cream, which is the first hand rolled ice cream shop in Philadelphia started in 2015 but today have many branches and is of customs in the United States and beyond. Some of the company's specialties include ice cream rolls and ice cream desert. Recall that Irukka Online Ltd also recently signed another franchise with Romeo's pizza also in the United States.

Speaking on why he said to bring Sweet Charlie`s Ice Cream to Nigeria, the Chairman of Irukka Online Ltd, Ifeanyi Onwubiko said that his love for ice cream started from childhood and has not left since then.

According to him, Ice cream is one of those things that are beyond imagination and because of that nobody says no to ice cream, especially Sweet Charlie`s ice cream. He said that Sweet Charlie's Ice cream make Ice cream and frozen yogurt, the way It should. Speaking further, having traveled to different parts of the world and tested their ice creams, he settled for Sweet Charlie's ice cream because he discovered that it is the best.

On why he decided that on Valentine Day to start operation, he said that Ice Cream is a currency for love, adding that any Val without Sweet Charlie's Ice cream is no Val. His words,

“I am one man who believes that Nigerians deserve the best. In all the business that we are in,we are known for quality. Recently, we signed an agreement with the owners of Romeo's Pizza in the United States because it is among the top pizza companies in the United States. Romeo pizza is a quality conscious/award company and before they give a franchise, they would make sure that the franchisor has the capacity to maintain the quality for which their products are known for all over the world.We met the requirement and it was given to us.

The same thing with Sweet Charlie's Ice Cream.They too has a very high standard and they saw that we have the capacity to meet it.So,from early next year,we hope to be giving Nigerians the best pizza and Ice from the biggest brands in the world.You don’t have to travel outside the country to have a taste of quality pizza and ice cream”.
