I don't usually take the pronouncements of this crop of politicians seriously
But can they use this 'money they don't have' to upgrade and fix all the other roads in Lagos?
Probably fix the schools too?

Fix the schools as well as recruit teachers and other workers.

Those are the ones we refer to as Children of hate, frustration and perdition.
The enemies of the country that do not want any iota of progress in our nation.
All they want us chaos and unrest.
They hate any positive news.
Pathetic souls they are.

At this point, you pity them.
You realize that they need prayers.
They hate everything good.
They hate anything uplifting.
They hate development.
They hate their country.
They even hate themselves.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA.

How is 4th MB progressing the nation?

Instead of ylthis clueless people to finish one project, they will just be opening construction site up and down, just finish mile 2 badagry express of even the metro line, agleast that will ease up traffic.

this will reduce rent charges around Gbagada, ifako, oworoshoki, almost all the tenets have houses in ikorodu but due to heavy traffic it has been difficult to relocate

What Lagos should be delivering in this time and age is the rail option of transportation
Re: Sanwo-Olu: Lagos Is Ready To Deliver 4th Mainland Bridge by Nobody: 7:55am On Sep 30, 2020
Meanwhile the Badagry express light rail project has been abandoned, the road abandoned as well.
Lagos will do better with light rail projects running along the existing major roads as this will take more people off the roads than all these 10th mainland rubbish.

Part of This borrowed money will be used to fund APC/slash Tinubu’s presidential ambition

It's better to pay toll fee and ride on good road, than visiting mechanic every week.

It's good news for those from Ikorodu axis.

I don't think so my brother. Let's be optimistic and trust the judgement of our leaders. Their success is our success while we alone suffer when they fail.

wirinet:

The problem is not even building the roads and bridges, the problem is maintenance. Roads and bridges are very expensive to maintain, and you know we are not blessed in terms of maintenance culture. The federal government spends billions every 5 or so years maintaining the 3rd mainland bridge. Most of Lagos roads and bridges are crying for repairs and you are talking about spending billions of dollars building more roads and bridges.

Railway lines are the least expensive road infrastructure to maintain.

They are also the most EFFICIENT. You can transport several people at once, less pollution to the environment, less wear and tear on roads, so many benefits but no, Nigerian leaders are being short sighted and visionless as usual.

4th mainland bridge is not the solution to Lagos gridlock. I believe the loan is needed for someone 2023 ambition. Sometimes i wonder why Lagos that has been under same party since the return of democracy is still not moving forward. the light rail project should instead be giving priority, if that is done and it links up every major entry and exit point of Lagos, believe u me traffic gridlock will be a thing of the past in Lagos
