Happy independece day fellow Nigerians,

Am an advocate of one Nigeria and though we have cracks, we are better as one, than all of us going our separate ways, there is strength in diversity.

Why
Diversity is such a great strength that the rest of the world has discovered and they are now opening their doors to influx of men and women from different races, religion and beliefs. US is doing it, Canada is, Europe, even Asian countries are. Europeans countries discovered this inherent strength and form the EU, same resulted to USA considering this facts is it sensible for us to go our separate ways or accommodate more countries like Cameron, Niger, Benin and Ghana because it's doable.

Leave it or take it, in Nigeria we don't hate ourselves, we love ourselves, I have traveled to almost 32 states of the federation including far North, the level of love demonstrated towards each other by the common man is not what is been projected by our so called politicians. In Yobe state in 2017 an Igbo woman have a restaurant, she cooks normal SE meals, all roads leads there in the evening after a long hour work, as we are eating we are gisting and laughing at that point, nothing like tribe or religion. Recently governor Zulum honoured another Igbo woman who is diligent in her duty as a teacher in Borno these is the true reflection of the average Nigerian love for one another, is this example a true reflection of unity or division?

Lot's of instances that I can give but I will stop here.

Where do we miss it.
As a person that thinks well, if you want to plan your life, you imagine 30 to 40yrs ahead and if at 40 to 50yrs you want to know how you've gotten to where you are, you look at 30 to 40yrs behind, because the outcome of your life today is as a result of the decisions you made yesterday.
I always say people that were born in 50s to 70s are the ones that led us to where we are now. There is a saying that

"Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.”

that is the story of our Nigeria. Colonial era produces the likes of Azikiwe, Tafawabalewa, Awolowo etc, they in turn gave us the early days our fathers enjoyed if you are between 50 to 60years you will know what am talking about you enjoyed all the free things, you found yourself in government in your 20s and 30s both military and civilian alike, but you forgot to plan for 30yrs ahead for your children the way your father's did plan for you and here we are today, still struggling with basic necessities. You will now build schools, boreholes and install transformers 30yrs after you started ruling and you will be bold to go and commission it and even invite the press and you are not ashamed?

Solution
The youths is the solution to this quagmire we find ourselves. 15.6m votes brought President Buhari to power in 2019, we are 60m in this country. If half of us decides that the right thing most be done, we identify the competent ones amongst us, not the ones that are giving us bad face now, it must be evident that they have and doing something with their life's, we have them around, we front them with a clear cut agenda of what we want, the older generation that are playing kalo Kalo with our heads are not up to 1,000,000 oo including the civil servants put together. Let's run for states assembly seats, house of Assembly and Senate, (presidency go hard for now, make we no go there) impeach anybody that doesn't want to do the right thing and put ourselves there and get things done. If it will take us 20yrs to do this thing let's do it. If we don't do it, our present condition is bad, our children's will be worst 20 to 30yrs from now God bless Nigeria, Happy independent day.
