The Bayelsa was different. The APC man was disqualified. In imo, the tanko and his goon looked at the law and turned it upside down. That IMO judgement is a shame.

Right. If a court judgement favours PDP then it's all good and you consider it 'justice', but if na APC e favour then something must be wrong somewhere. Smh. You are not ok at all. Some of you are so biased that it has affected your ability to think straight even when it comes to simple matters. Na una sabi.

This man should rest biko....He shot himself in the head by associating with political liabilities like osho and tinubu, assuming he stayed put in PDP, it would have been a landslide victory for him, but he was used as a pawn to settle political issues that does not involved him in the first place....Speed with a very bad direction can be so deadly grin wink

You guys should allow him follow due process now?

Allow him to exercise his right.

Is Court process not part of the democracy we're running?

Which election? You better not be referring to the last Bayelsa governorship election because only an ignoramus would say such. How APC wan manage to rig election in a PDP state/stronghold like Bayelsa, with a sitting PDP governor? Are you sure you are not drunk this early morning?

Let me tell you the truth. The APC candidate was the choice if the people and got elected and he won the election in all what was deemed free and fair. He was disqualified by the supreme court on the basis that his running mate had a false certification.
He would have still been the governor.

As for IMO state, they were no cases of false certification but assumptions of claimed rigging and falsifying of election malpractices which the APC claimed to have affected them. The supreme court awarded APC winner of the election despite APC being in the third position.

They brought out figures by inec which were never taken into record in the collation day. They claimed all cancelled votes belonged to the APC party which is not normal.
They were awarded 200000 votes in order to surpass the ruling and the first runner up of the election.

The election should have been taken in those areas. It is highly insane that the 200000 votes cancelled only belonged to APC without the opposition scoring a large sum.

Would the APC Bayelsa have been disqualified if the PDP man didn't go to court?

The Bayelsa case is forgery while this Obaseki own too is forgery.

It's about gaining admission into UI with fake documents and UI might withdraw his Degree.

Just watch as Obaseki will send emissary to beg Pastor to withdraw the case.

The election process was very free and fair, even the President himself admitted it and even used it as one of his achievement election wise...Even his party has congratulated the winner, so he better move on, after all failure is not final....He can still win another day.

Oga, go already and fail up to the supreme court. You have never timed your political decisions right, and you have never known to choose the battles you fight. Even, with glaring signals from everywhere and everyone (even your party leaders), you're still about embarking on a fruitless journey.
Since it's your inalienable right, however, go ahead, but just know the results of the election itself cannot be contested to the point of nullity on any ground, because you were rejected fair and square by Edolites, your rigging machineries were dismantled by the same Edolites and your party leaders refused to provide you with spare parts (you were a power experiment to them).
The only case you have are the pre-election matters already instituted within the statutes of the law, and those will fail too.

Why will it fail when obaseki and shuaibu have questionable papers

Which party did he contest under in 2016? Most of you guys here are just too empty. Obaseki would've won the election under Apc or pdp. The people wanted him back, it wasn't a pdp or apc thing.

I think you are the empty one here, otherwise common sense will tell you that his godfather's political value in APC and Nigeria in general has nosedived so badly this year to compare to 2016 when they were both waving excess powers.

Assuming the Pastor stood with PDP, with all the problems in APC then, he will win Obaseki, cause Obaseki will have no choice than to run on a weaker platform, his decamping to APC give Obaseki a bigger lifeline in PDP.

He should go ahead and file his case before time runs out. No matter how free and transparent an election is, PDP will still go to court to challenge it if they are on the losing side. APC should stop trying to play fair against a ruthless opposition that doesn’t understand fairness in any contest.
Am not sure you were in Nigeria in 2015, well for your information, PDP didn't go to court after the presidential election

The way you people lie just to make cheap points shocks the devil himself.
When PDP lost the presidency in 2015, did they challenge it in court?
Have some conscience na!!

But Bayelsa is currently being ruled by a 'Supreme Court governor' after APC clearly won the election.

Yes Sir, you are right. But in the case of Bayelsa, the deputy governorship candidate was disqualified on the basis of forged and inconsistent certificates which is fraudulent according to the law. The law judgement invalidated the APC candidature, and as such the APC is as good as not having candidates in the election. So, the next highest vote carried the day. So you see, it different from Imo state where the THIRD became FIRST without the disqualification of any Party's candidate. Indeed, Hop Uzodimma is the one, only and truly supreme court governor all over the world.

If you think so. The 200000 votes were on what basis excluded by inec? Why was the votes of the APC candidate only the one excluded by the Inec. Weren't PDP and APGA also members in that elections in the said particular ward also excluded.
