After all the hefty fantastic salary they have been collecting for years, shouldnt they have volunteered to take a pay cut to help the company in these trying times
Good luck to them in their future endeavors.
They will still collect mouth watering severance package

The main issue now is that these staffs are undoubtedly highly paid and the urge to settle for less wouldn’t be there. I see a high rate of depression and crime looming

Read the handwriting on the wall. Oil is not a money spinner again. Whoever depends on oil to sustain governance will suffer untold hardship. Every company all over the world is downsizing at the moment. Nigeria won't survive it since she failed to utilize the decades of surplus money she made from oil. It's a new world we are about to enter.
