Make money because it is necessary for survival not because you want to impress another gender.
Y'all women should endeavour to make money too, don't just sit down while your credentials waste away because you think a man has to do everything for you. Why attend a university if you don't want to put the certificate to use and earn money to make life better for yourself?

It has been so for a long time, it's not new.
That's the mentality our Nigerian Mother tutor them on daily.
Naturally I don't see anything wrong with it.
The part that annoys me is that the same Nigerian Mothers don't lecture them about good characters and virtues anymore, they allow them to foolishly copy every bad attitudes from the westerners calling it civilization, forgetting that what works for Musa won't work for Tunde.
Everyone is running away from our old cultures and accepting the western cultures because our Nigerian/African cultures are very disciplinary and full of good morals.

some Nigerian ladies are beginning to dream high and also earn much more than guys oh.



You see this social media and eCommerce of a thing, they are helping Nigerian ladies a lot now, most of them earn far more than oil company workers today from the comfort of their bedrooms or school hostels.


You have a point, in this time and era, I will advice any sensible young man to marry an ambitious lady with visible goals and plans of becoming successful in a field she chose.

Don't marry a mentally, physically and emotionally lazy and jobless lady if you love the future of your kids.


Marry smart humble ladies, they will make your life easier

Good day house,I joined nairaland then because of the level of information and exposure I received but now things r really changing and turning into child's play. I want to implore us to focus on things of value and matter that bother on real life issues rather than all these non essential issues. The whites really have passed all these stuff. Times are changing.

Girls who have good-paying jobs always feel they don't need men in their lives.

On the other hand, men who have a lot of money to spend feel that they need plenty of women.

I fear what marriage will become in the near future.

The truth is that we need each other.

I always tell ladies to use the opportunity when they still look good to get a good husband and stop flirting around because the beauty of a woman is like a flower - it has a season.

When she gets old, all the boobs and big backside are flat and no more attention. It will just be her, her husband and the kids.

A word, for the wise, is enough

I have met broke gals with ambition and rich girls with no ambition bt comfortable and want to enjoy their life anyhow and anyway. So it depends on mentality not the status in all cases.
