Following the ban of operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) on routine patrols and other conventional low-risk duties, the Commissioner of Police, F-SARS, Imohimi Edgal has discussed the new guidelines for the functionality of the notorious police unit.

Recall that on Sunday, October 4, 2020, the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu gave a fresh directive that prohibits SARS and other Tactical Squads of the Police such as -Special Tactical Squad (STS), Intelligence Response Team (IRT), Anti-Cultism Squad and other Tactical Squads, from all activities on Nigerian roads.
