And so ? And so what ? Obsanjo is an elderly ugly monkey who is a rogue, criminal, and thief --- ok ? So in your book of law, its ok for elders to steal from or demoralize younger ones ----- ure either a slowpoke or an elderly fool.

@OP, it is either you're an acquaintance of the so called elder, you didn't watch the debate or you just don't like gov fashola. Are you saying it is alright for the governor to humiliated by an elder. The[elderly] man wanted to score points which later backfired on him. I'll say if you are not ready to get dirty do not play with muddy water. What would you have done if you were the gov?

I'm so sick of this African 'elders' tin. Why wasn't he so matured not to steal? Most older peepz will do wrongs to the youngs n use age as a cover. Feeling sick!!!

The elder in question is a shameless old man. He brought up personal issues at the debate. Does the fact that he is an elder entitle him to have the governor to be at his beck and call. When you book an appointment to see a busy government/private official, the purpose of the visit is always stated! Why seek to see the governor for a criminal matter that is already before the law court? The second issue was that of his house in victoria island that was built on the drain, causing flooding of the environs in the process. Fashola had to explain that the issue was being handled by the commissioner for environment. He tried to deceive into concluding that the governor was an arrogant individual. Age is no licence for deceit!

chief jk randle belongs to one of those family lines who pioneered lagos, but what these so called lagos household name refuse to accept is change, they fail to know that life is a continuum, with different pple anchorring different phases.

What will a 76 year old man bring to the table other than analogue methodology, abeg let him go and sit down jare. During the debate he kept repeating that he served lagos for forty years without receaving a penny from govt and all sh, t. ifelt sorry for him on that day but hes likes are no longer needed in leadership period

@Poster, let's always try to be balanced in our views, the title of your post is as misleading as it is unrepresentative of what transpired between Mr Fashola and Mr Randle. You also failed to give the background of the incident.

Mr Randle simply sowed the wind and reaped the whirlwind. He got what he deserved by attempting, he almost did, to embarass Mr Fashola and portray him as 'inaccessible' for several years and arrogant.
