2023 is coming fast, as in just 2 months time 2020 will come to an end. So I ask myself how possible is it for the country to move from APC and PDP to something better. A new ideology that will benefit us all.

Not possible. Such a thing is only possible in a country that is united. In a country as divided as Nigeria, it cant happen

Re write The Electoral Act, if you cross carpet, you have a bye election for that position, or you miss an electoral cycle (4 years).

The party needs to be powerful before the candidate can even be put in consideration

Nairaland youths especially those killing themselves for APC and PDP wake up let’s cone together and fight as one. A new Nigeria and a new party powered by Youths is coming alive.
Follow the trend #EndSARS #EndBADGOVERNANCE

The problem is that Nigerians don't want to do the hard work of organising a new political force. Also, they don't have the patience and the money to midwife ssuch a new poltical force

(As an example, the Labour party in the UK was once a small party . That it is now one of the UK's two major parties is the result of decades of hardwork by lots of party workers and activists, many of whom never saw the results of their goals. Including their founder)

Instead, they want someone to do the work for them.

It takes a lot of haard work to build a viable poltical force. Lots of meetings, lots of commitments, lots of traavelling, fundrasing, and being willing to occasionally suffer government persecution. And people laughing at you

Most of us know that PDP and APC have to go. But when it is time to answer the question 'Who will belll the cat'...we run away.Me inclusive.

They will join. What the old politicians don’t know is that we well meaning youths are wiser and smarter than them.
They will definitely join.

Political parties are not the problem but the politicians in the party. While can't the youth infiltrate the two powerful party that already has structure. All the youth needs to do is just registered has party members in large multitude and sponsor some discipline and reliable persons to LG chairman, house of reps, Senate. The major problem we have is the constitution, if we can hackjack the house and senate through elections, then we can amend or change the entire constitution.

The difference is we have never tried them before.. And all still depends on which candidates they present

APGA, has been ruling in some part of the eastern part, while SDP has also been existing for some times with reps or senators, they are not innocent.
