Following a lot of agitation going on round the nation, it has become extremely important to address the issues in Nigeria.

From the widespread insecurity, to the SARZ issue, to the increment in electricity tarrif, to pump price increase, to ASUU and all other critical issues, 5 key steps must be taken temporarily by the Presidency, while working on a permanent solution.

1. The president must address the nation urgently. There's no better time than now to do that. He must clearly state the temporary plans the presidency has to clearly resolve the issues we have and the time frame for implementation of the plans.

2. The president must caution all individuals who speak on behalf of the Presidency online(presidential spokespersons). This is not the time to be insensitive to the plight of the people while defending the government . They need to have every of their statement approved before posting. Emotional Intelligence must be the guiding principle behind every post.

3. The president must take a working visit round all states of the North East to boost confidence of the Armed forces. Motivation is key to boosting performance.

4. The president must order an official complaint channel to be created for all Nigerians to send in their complaints and recommendations within two weeks. The presidency would then compile all of the complaints and recommendations before the year runs out.
They would equally revert back to the people on the steps that would be taken on a long term.

5. Ensure reversal of every recent policy that can make life difficult for the Nigerian populace. It must be done urgently while seeking for a permanent solution.
