Launching a military operation to fight a “technically defeated “ Boko Haram?

This is the result of lying to yourselves.

Nigerian army self..what's the meaning of all this mumu mumu name they are giving their operations?? Go out and fight, must you give a name before you can work effectively?? Perhaps that's why they are failing

What do you know?

You don't just launch an attack without giving the attacker group a name to identify people who were deployed for the mission.

Even US n every other countries gives their operations identity.

Its the norm.

Why do us civilians know about these operations.
Military officials should stay away from the media.
Do you expect the insurgents to still be in sambisa forest by the time the operation is launched. If you do, then you need to change jobs

Did Chad give all these fancy names and announcements when they ransacked Boko Haram, forcing them to run back into Nigeria with tails between their legs

The only thing Nigerian Army is good at is picking really amazing names, Python dance, crocodile smile, Fireball. The next namye would probably be Operation Wrecking ball.

In reality, the real operation is Operation Avengers infinity wars. This war is long and the season never ends. Shameless people.

It took the less equipped Chadian forces 2 weeks of intense operation led by Idriss Debby Itno to remove every Boko Haram from every inch of their territory to the extent that Shekau had to cry out begging Chadian people that he has no problem with them.
Governor Zulum has even suggested that Nigeria should pay the Chadians to help us, I don't think Boko Haram will be moved by all this noise from Burantashi

The issue is the rational behind revealing the operation to the enemy!!

At best, this passes for stupid mind game and at worst, it amounts to the same cowardly strategy of always 'repelling' terrorists instead of going after them like Chad did.

Meanwhile, there's a YouTube video in which our leading army officer was asking (on radio) for permission, obviously from his commanding officer, whether to attack boko haram terrorists whom they got within range.
