There wasn't much hype like Edo. Then the only southwest to support the guy was makinde. Its like they knew they won't win... But its a fair bargain. Win Edo, loose ondo.

Now they can help this guy in Lagos cos if PDP want a real win, they need to support this BOG guy. Should he win, he can help to demystify that APC trash in Lagos.

Makinde will regret wearing that cap with the inscription "Ondo no be Lagos"

As omoluabi, I don't expect that from him.

Also, that APC trash in Lagos is better than your father in all ramifications.

Okay...

What is that special thing that Akeredolu has done, so special and unforgettable that Ondo people had to re-elect him again?

Why do we as a people choose to settle for mediocrity? We deserve better leadership.

Anyway, the new two would have done no inch past what Akeredolu would still do.

I'm sure u are one of those who supported Obaseki and ur only reason for voting him is that he's fighting Godfatherism..

People of Ondo have voted for their Candidate as Edo people have. but, u don't see why he deserves a second term

Stop talking nonsense.incumbents have lost elections more in yorubaland than any other zone.in 2003,5 incumbents lost election in the west.it was only in 2011 that the east managed to vote out an incumbent.the yorubas in total have voted out incumbents 9 times.yorubas are the most sophisticated voters in nigeria

ONDO STATE SHOCKS NIGERIANS WITH ONLY N5 BILLION A MONTH, IT BUILDS THE BIGGEST INDUSTRIAL CITY IN NIGERIA WITH 15 COMPANIES IN THE HUB POISED TO EMPLOY 20,000 YOUTHS.

SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE!

Opinion: How in the world did Ondo State pull this off. Ondo state is one of the least affluent States in Nigeria!? How is it possible that a State that receives an average of N5b a month just built an industrial city and Mr President just commissioned (not groundbreaking) the mammoth project!?

Meanwhile States that receive N15 to N20 billion are struggling to finish road projects. How did a smart Ondo State Governor enter a deal with the city of Linyi in Shanghai China and make it an Ondo State’s partner city?

Finally how was Ondo State able to finish a flyover when other States that earn 8 times what it earns are still not able to complete one!!!

Today as President Buhari opened the Industrial city, hundreds of youths were already being employed. In fact the news is that the State Government is concerned they might not have enough hands to man the city. It means youths from neighbouring States will flood Ondo State.

The Industrial City also called an Industrial hub has an Paper Mill Factory, Plywood Factory, Textile Company, The largest Cassava Ethanol Factory in Nigeria, Automobile Assembly Plant and Nigeria’s the country’s first MDF Factory that produces high-density fibre and marine boards.

I have maintained this argument from 2007 that the salvation of the masses is not in the hands of the Federal Government but in the hearts of ingenious, compassionate and patriotic minded Governors.

While some Governors are building substandard political projects sitting in long convoys and undertaking groundbreaking projects with the media. Other Governors are quietly changing Nigeria from the regions.

May God bless Governor Akerelodu and may he increase in Wisdom.

Congratulations Ondo State!

News
Ondo State Opens Mega Industrial Hub
The Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub has Automobile Assembly Plant, Paper Mill Factory, Textile Company, largest Cassava to Ethanol Factory in Nigeria, as well as the country’s first MDF Factory that produces high-density fibre and marine boards.

The commissioning is part of 11-day activities to mark the third-year anniversary of the Governor Akeredolu administration.

In related news, The President is now on his way to commission Ore Flyover Interchange.

The Manager of the Ondo State Industrial Hub, Mr Alex Ajipe, said on Wednesday that about 20,000 direct and indirect jobs would be generated when the hub begins to operate at full capacity.
Ajipe made the remark during the visit the wife of the state governor, Mrs Betty Akeredolu, to the hub at Omotoso, on the Ore Expressway in Odigbo Local Government Area of the state.

The industrial hub, which is known as the Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub, came into being as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Linyi City in the Shanghai Province in China and the Ondo State Government.
He said that nearly 15 different companies were already sited in the hub for operations, which include wood processing, textiles, exploration and agriculture.

According to him, we have a textile mill which is producing sewing thread, polyester embroidery and it will soon start to produce fabrics, lace and ankara.

There is a wood mill producing plywood and an agro-allied chemical company which is 60 per cent completed. Also, there is a cassava ethanol plant which is only awaiting to be connected with electricity for operation. This will require one million tons of cassava every year and it means more money for cassava farmers and the company is ready to assist those cassava farmers in getting multiple harvests,’’ he said.

Ajipe said that before the end of 2019, an automobile assembly would arrive at the hub for assembling different forms of vehicles.
“We are expecting an automobile assembly to arrive in some months, to assemble different vehicles here in this industrial hub,’’ he noted.
Ajipe also noted that the hub will have a training centre, to be called the African College of Agriculture Vocational and Technical Studies, where interested people could acquire needed manpower technology.

Mrs Betty Akeredolu said she was in the hub with her team, the Forum of Wives of State Officials and Women Appointees (FOWOSO), to witness the giant industrial strides of the state government.

To hold elections structure in Nigeria has to be reformed because it is very chaotic,Ondo has a population of 3.5 million people and 1.9 million registered voters but only less than 600 thousand people vote. If you take the amount of people which voted to the population it is about 18%. If you take the amount of registered voters to the amount of people which voted in the state it is less than 30%. Most elections in the country is a total disgrace. Look at Somalia when did the election's over 70% of the people go and vote, South Sudan is the same thing, Ghana South Africa Kenya more than 80% of the population go and vote. If the election commission is choosing governors and president with less than 30% of the registered voters voting and less than 20% of the population voting it is very sad.
