Hardworking Nigerians engaging in online and other internet related business should voice out with #EndYahooYahoo

They should also protest to support the creation of special anti cyber crime units made of intelligent officers in the police, EFCC and ICPC.

These criminals have tarnish the name of this country at the international stage. Every Nigerian is viewed as a potential criminal In the international arena. And they see no wrong in their crime. They even boldly and shamelessly justify the crime with phrases like "Politicians are thieves" or "No job in Nigeria"

The difference between armed robbers and Yahoo boys is simply about physical and electronic ammunition.

I hope this will gather momentum as well. Perhaps if can manage to curb this menace, no law enforcement officer will even have an excuse to violate our rights.

Let's rebuild the image of Nigeria and open more business doors for ourselves in the online world.

Note: except for the likes of Timaya and Phyno, I don't expect a lot of celebrities to join this movement for obvious reasonscheesy

They will rather keep silent. Because only 30% of the protesters are hardworking Nigerians, the remaining 70% are scammers, drug traffickers and etc.

Bubu is not your father. At least if you don't have anything to give this country leave its remaining carcass to rest, enough have been taken from her.

someone who couldn't even manage his other room how can he manage Nigeria.
you and you are the very problem Nigeria is having today. yet we are still handling your issues

The difference between armed robbers and Yahoo boys is simply about physical and electronic ammunition.

So would you rather be robbed/kidnapped by armed gangs or be scammed? In other words, would you prefer the millions of hopeless and frustrated youth across Nigeria who found financial solace and emancipation in yahoo yahoo rather deploy their energies to armed robbery instead. If every yahoo boy converts his laptop into 'physical ammunition' such as AK47 and heads out with the same determination, would you even be alive to type this rubbish?

Some of you are perhaps too dense and mentally incapacitated to think deeply and holistically, hence the very shallow and senseless assertions you make.

It's one thing to condemn fraud and yahoo boys if you like, but comparing it to armed robbery and violent crime is absolutely preposterous and foolish. Until you experience it (if you manage to survive), you should never be qualified to utter such rubbish.

I don't appreciate being quoted by fools with subpar IQ. If you cannot invalidate my argument; if you can't challenge my opinion by offering a coherent counter argument, then don't quote me with stupid one liners.

I'll support this very well. However everything all boils down to bad governance. The corruption, evil, anger, poverty and gnashing of teeth comes from the federal government to its people.

Police brutality wouldn't have been possible, had the government not leave environment for bad cops to thrive in the evil they perpetrate on innocent people. It is even said that the bad cops that extort people are doing so because they have to meet targets set by their superiors. It all still goes back to the CP. Hence they do their evil with pride, after all no one will check their mate. Government is to blame for this for not just installing corrupt cops on us, but also serving as mentor to them when it comes to corruption. This cannot be continued, something must be done as even those of us that are clean of fraud or anything are getting harrassed everyday.

Government still are to be blamed for most youth engaging in internet fraud these days. Government aren't creating avenues for entrepreneurship business to thrive as well as not creating jobs for graduates from school. Even though this isn't enough to engage in internet fraud and other dastard acts, nevertheless the survival instinct in us will always make us find our way even in the most meanest of ways. However we can't encourage yahoo yahoo, we must end it. It's giving us bad image internationally, these criminals fraudsters are defrauding us locally now. I was in the banking Hall the other day and a woman was crying profusely and almost passed out because fraudsters had cleared all the money in her account. These things are evil and should be condemned.

However, police instead of bringing them into justice aren't doing so but rather extorting them for them own selfish interest. Both internet fraudsters and police are same evil of different colors.

Bottom line FG is to be blamed, and also they have the sole power to turn off this whole evil at once.

The kind of brain-dead thieves on this forum is becoming alarming. This fool is actually saying that cyber fraud is excusable. I can boldly say that I would rather lose 10k to an armed robber than to lose millions to an online fraudster. Your idiotic post just proved the OPs point. 70% of those calling for an end to SARS are actually criminals themselves but no problem. SARS officers are still part of the police force and they shall continue killing you scumbags.

It is one thing to be a yahoo boy, but only a bastards would come online to defend his means of livelihood.

Look at yourself , so those people yahoo yahoo members scammed of their hard earn income are not human and don’t feel pains? The pains armed robbers inflect on their victims is the same pains yahoo yahoo inflict on their victims. Therefore Yahoo yahoo, armed robbery, kidddnapping etc are all the same thing. It’s only a yahoo yahoo member or beneficiary that think otherwise.

Lol. Anybody that comes online to defend and even advocate yahoo yahoo IS A CRIMINAL. Go and cry to whomever you wish to cry to.

A scammer is not different from an armed robber. They both cause heartbreak, depression and both of them actually cause loss of property/life. In fact, armed robbers don't steal as much as yahoo boys because those ones simply wipe out your life savings while an armed robber can only take what you have with you during the time of the robbery. Keep fooling yourselves in your attempts to justify fraud. You are just as callous as the armed robbers.
