The problem we have in this country is selective fight- if it doesn’t concern us, I won’t be part of it.

To start with, teachers are supposed to be paid handsomely because of the great work they do which transcends to the university system.

Perhaps, people will identify with ASUU’ request. This country is lucky that primary and secondary school teachers don’t have a strong association to fight for her welfare. Do you know how bad these teachers are paid? To the extent that most of they sell one or two things in the office- you know this in public schools. Some even bring their house duties to to class, sell goodies to student and run a mini shop they begged for capital to start up.

If you can still link up with any of your teachers in secondary school, kindly reach out to them if you are financially bouyant. It is not easy.

God will save education in this country.
