Good evening Nairalanders,

We've made progress so far in our demand for a fair and just policing. As a result, the IGP has ordered all ex sars members to report at the force headquarters in Abuja.

But we need to make one more demand for this victory to be complete;

All these corrupt sars would have gotten rich from their illegal dealings. I believe they shouldn't go free.

What if their BVN was demanded at the headquarters? And their bank accounts/statements investigated? The ones found with money they didn't earn would be forced to explain where they got it from. And if found guilty of extortion, should be made to face the law!

What do you think Nairalanders? That would be the perfect payback.

But this will not happen unless lot of people voice out. So I'm begging you Nairalanders, our victory is so near. Please let's promote the hashtag #demandTheirBankStatements till the IG and Every Nigerian is aware.

God bless us all. Nigeria will be great.

Another corrupt agency?

That's a starting point. But let's make the demand first.

You are right though. But I still believe many of them are not that wise. And it would surprise you how much these cronies have amassed. Even their bosses.

From a reliable source,the monies collected by these road side policemen are handed to their bosses because if they dont, their bosses will kill them and blame it on armed robbery attack.
That is the police dilemma.(Master servant rekationship)

The ogas are the real barawo forcing the junior officers to extort the public because of their target they must fulfill everyday.
