Three plots is small but it's a good start.

It small....u can plant only 27 palm tree on the size of land.......since it a long term investment it doesn't make good sense to use such small land.....the land can be used to cultivate other crops like plantain, Banana, casava, pineapples, vegetables. Any of these crops will do

My opinion anyways
Cheers!!

Sir, though I don't know what you mean by 3 plots, I would like to advice you contrary to what others have said.

As a Nigerian, a plot should be 100×50 (5000 square metre)

mathematical: if 1plot = 5,000 square metre,
3plots = 15,000 square metre====» 1and 1/2 ha (hectare= 10,000 square metre).

PLANTING: The best plant spacing for palm tree is 9m×9m.

Using the plant space above, a hectare can contain 123 plant stands.

Therefore, the total land space you have (3plots===»15,000m^2) will contain about 185 palm tree stands.

My advice is that with good management practices, the 3plots will pay you dearly in next 5-7 years depending on specie.

Thanks, it's a good move.
thanks so much for your advice. because I thought as much.

A plot is 100ft x50ft which is equivalent to 30m X 15m as against your calculation of 100m X 50m. Three plots for palm plantation is not lucrative at all. Dont even consider it as an option.

Use it for another venture. Minimum plot for palm plantation should be nothing less than 50 hectares which is (50 X 17 plots = 850plots).
