Diplomacy cool a lot of nerves.
Sometimes, compromise (bending the rule) goes a long way in bringing about trust and mutual rapport.

Really funny.

Nigerians have blown an opportunity that might take over a decade to present itself again. We should have cashed out when the fruits were ripe, but we allowed them to rot away on the trees.

This whole thing should have been suspended when SagaLink and Aisha called for it's suspension, but people with ulterior motives rejected such, saying neither Aisha or Saga had the right to call off the protests. Calling it off and sitting on a round table with government representatives was meant to be the next reasonable step to take, but that was never to be.

Tell me now, is there any chance of the government inviting people to a round table for any discussion or negotiation? Make very strong demands with a threat to taking back to the streets if theyre not met. I know there's a cardinal rule in life that says "it is best to negotiate from a position of strength". Now, does the protest still have the strength and credibility it had a week ago? Would people still take to the streets if protests are called today?

Now, the goodwill the people had for the protest has been lost, so much so that SagaLink and Aisha Yosufu are throwing subtle shades at each other.

So saddening.

Only political thieves and hooligans like the monkkey above me talk about "cashout" when people are protesting for better society

Im happy that we have disappointed all these foolish zombie miscreants by not allowing them to use the protest to "cashout" from Abuja.

Shame on every zombie miscreants

God punish all the zombie miscreants.

such thing is bound to happen.

Let me frankly tell you
there's nothing like activism in Nigeria
or let's say we have few real activists
everyone is looking for a way to cash out
that's what caused the problem and the ones that felt they've cheated sided with the government to truncate the protest.
remember the government hands was tied because of the manner and how organised the protest was.
since my life I've never seen police done out anti protest equipments like water tanks
tear gas is a daily accessories
but they used genuine anti protest equipment to do it.
the protest started gaining ground and international presence hence the government had to do something to protect their images including posible visa ban.
but since they can't use force yet. they hired thugs to attack protesters but failed and the protest gained more sympathy. then they resorted in giving the dog a bad name before killing it. that's why they hired tugs to start destruction and unrest so to give reasons to use force because they feel that that's the only way to get them protesters off the street.
the rest was history.

my point is that selfish interests of the youths are mainly what destroyed the protests.
the government e-trolls started their usual old tactics which is tribalism and that brought division and boom everything went tribal.
Nigerians nearly got it right because the ruling class was scared like shit because they never imagined that temporary unity among the youths across various tribes
but greed of the youths especially those that worked for them destroyed it.

I'm afraid to say this we've lost this country forever infact the way I'm seeing it it'll be difficult for a southerner to get power again because we're terribly divided more than ever now.

sometimes I'm forced to believe the conspiracy theory of the North using this tactic to keep power forever

“Get a high-income skill and become a millionaire in no time.”

“Do not come out of this pandemic without a skill.”

Do these sound familiar?

Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been several posts across social media advising folks to learn skills that could serve as a means of income.

You have probably keyed into this revelation and dedicated this season to learning whatever skill is classified as high-income.

Who doesn’t want to be a millionaire in no time? No one!

Well, now that you’re done with that training, please read these words carefully, write them down if you can, so you avoid the frustration that comes with not making money with that skill.

Last week, my friend and I were looking through job offers for logo design and branding on Upwork and we saw a job for $310

That is over 100k in naira.

This is the same logo design and branding that Uche Adesanya is offering for 7,000 and Mrs. Beatrice and others are pricing for 3,000.

We also saw the profile of a designer who charges more than that amount, for 4 hours of his service.

If in 3 months, he sells to 20 clients and then, starts teaching people logo design and terms it a high-income skill that can make you a millionaire in no time.

Would he be lying? Gracious no!

He would even have proofs and screenshots of payments he has received from his clients.

You see, having a skill is one thing and knowing how to earn from it is another.

In the logo design example, what do you notice? Same skill, but different pay.

What is responsible for this?

There are many factors. But, the top of them is the clients you are serving.

After you’ve learnt that skill, go to Upwork and rent a room.

You can be doing the exact same thing as the lady who gets paid $500 for a job on Upwork, but you earn 20,000 naira.

You may be the best, but you’d eat chips when you’re earning chips.

Howbeit, if you knew about Upwork before now, you’d know there are currently some restrictions on new freelancers.

You might have tried to register a hundred times and gotten rejected a hundred and two times.

But still, Upwork is approving accounts daily.

There’s a secret to getting accounts approved instantly.

There are folks who have made it their jobs to get accounts approved for others at a fee.

But, I won't just approve your account for you. I will also teach you how to get accounts approved instantly.

Here are some other things you will learn from me:

• How to write job winning offers.
• How to get high paying clients.
• How to receive payments into your local bank account.

All these, are just a few of the things you'd know how about soon.

If you don’t have a skill to offer, do not worry.

You will also learn how to write a non-plagiarized 1000 word article in less than 20 minutes.

You can offer this skill on Upwork!

Is that all?

No.

You will be given eBooks on freelancing worth 6,370 naira.

For all you stand to gain, He could peg the fee for this training at 5,000 naira and it would still be fair.

But he has slashed the fee to learn these, to just 2,150 naira.

Amazingly,

The first 20 people to contact him will pay just 1,000 naira!

This is the last time the training will be at this fee.

It won't happen again.

When is this training commencing?

On Saturday, 31st of October, 2020.

How do you get started?

Send him a message for the account details to pay to on 0 7 0 1 4 8 9 9 9 7 2.

PS: If you don't come from a rich family, make sure a rich family comes from you.

Send him a message now.

The military have been engaging protesters all the while. We have all seen several videos of the military officers addressing protesters while their troops stood guard.
But nobody can point to a video of soldiers shooting at protesters, only made-up lies and delusions.
