Our borders with neighboring countries was closed few months back to encourage our local rice production. But it has only favoured the farmers. The consumers are not finding it easy with the high prices of both the local and foreign rice. The prices of both have doubled. Please let the borders be opened. Nigerians can't breathe again. If it continues this way, a bag of rice could cost up to 50,000 Naira by December. And increase in the price of rice affects the prices of other commodities as well. Please add your voice.
