SAFETY TIPS DURING PROTESTS/DEMONSTRATION

1. Keep your opinions about the protest to yourself when in public places and do not join them. Ex 23:2 says " You must not go after the crowd to do evil. "

2. Ensure your phone is fully charged when embarking on a trip.

3. Be extra vigilant.

4. Don't stand near or around protest grounds even if it's in front of your house, stay indoors.

5. Do not stay late outside not even in your street & do not leave home too early or too late. Hoodlums can take advantage of the protest to block the road & rob .

6. Avoid any display of affluence - big car, expensive phones, jewelry etc - that can attract hoodlums to you.

7. Do not engage in any activity that will jeopardize your security and safety.

8. Gather information about routes you are taking in advance & ensure u know more that one escape or alternate routes if possible.
Prov 22: 23 says "The shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself, but the inexperienced keep right on going and suffer the consequences."

9. If you must move anywhere, carry a means of identification (National ID, driver's license etc) PLEASE.

10. Try as much as possible to get information from credible sources and please don't forward unconfirmed or unverified information. Prov. 14:15 "Anyone inexperience puts faith in every word, but the shrewd one considers his steps."

11. Avoid posting or forwarding of protest scenes on social media.

12. Be neutral and Pray Incessantly.

Isaiah 30:15 says "...your strength will be in keeping calm and showing trust".

Jehovah will protect us and keep us safe as we continue to be cautious as serpents and yet innocent as doves.
