Who said so?

Onions can be farmed by anybody. We have the perfect weather for it more than the north yet we see it as northern thing. If cold regions like Europe can farm onions, tell me the reason why south shouldn't.

Hunger have not yet started. Everybody want to be a trader or white collar guy.

Guy onion needs cold weather like that of harmattarn or with very low humidity.

Southern Nigeria have very high humidity which is not favourable for onion.

My people the prices of food stuffs is on the rise in Rivers State. I don't know about other cities.

Look at the Onions my wife bought at Oil Mill Market In Portharcourt for 500 naira today.

On a normal day these onions should cost 50 naira or less.

How is it in your area

You people will be worst if elected into office.
Onion of #200, your people decide to sell it for that amount.
That's wickedness of the highest order from your people over there.

You people don't live in ph but are already insinuating the wife is lying, smh.

Food stuffs are costly in ph now. Carrot, onions, meat, fish, beans and tomato.

One small sachet tomato is 150, 3 small carrots are 500,small ice fish 400. If you buy meat of 1k you won't even see it in the soup.

[quote author=Mylove55 post=95440272] that is the result of the useless protest[/quote

The protest wasn't the cause of the recent hike in the price of onions. We are not in onions season.

Please never you refer the protest as useless, if you were a victim or you know someone who was a victim of SARS, you would understand better.

Innocent people were been harassed, robbed and killed by SARS personnel and people protested to put an end to senseless killings and you referred it as USELESS!!!. SMH
