Good evening people,

Sorry to bore you but I'm kind of tired of naija and I want to relocate to Dubai to work by January. I've just started making my enquiries from a friend over there and what he told me is quite discouraging. Does it mean that there are no girls doing legit work over there or is he just trying to discourage me? Pls people living in Dubai and people that have been there should please help me out. Below are the screenshots of what he told me.

He is not discouraging you he’s taking fro experience. Although there are many Nigerian Woman’s working and doing fine here. But 70% of Nigerian Ladies here are doing runs because that’s what they are doing right from home (Nigeria)

I've been into hospitality industry here in Dubai for years, the market is bad now... thousands of workers were laid off (excluding me). When they begin to hire, first they will consider those with UAE experience. I'm not here to discourage you but to tell you the truth. I wish you all the best

Dubai is a place of vacation, not hustling or do you intend to carry concrete under the hot desert sun.

You are tired of Nigeria and you think running to the Arab world where you will be treated like a slave or like crap is the answer ba?

I guess you didn't see that video that went viral of a young Kenyan lady who went to Dubai to work and her employer began sexually harassing her despite him being a married man. She had to run away and made a video where she was asking us to pray for her. It was a very disheartening video to watch.

There aren't many job opportunities for Black Africans in Dubai except you want to work as a house maid where you will be asked for sex from arab men. If prostitution is not what you wish to do, then don't go to Dubai.

You can't work in the hospitality industry in Dubai when you don't even have Dubai work experience. Besides, the hospitality industry worldwide and that includes Dubai has been greatly affected due to the Covid-19 pandemic which is still raging on.

Why can't you sell cooked food like fried akara, yam and sweet potatoes with akamu? Do you know how much those that are into akara frying make? Raining season has come to an end now. Find some good spot and fry akara. There is dignity in labour.

The little money you want to use to run the dubai visa, Use it to start something here in naija pending when you find other places to go to.
Your friend and others on this thread that have commented said the plain truth. Most naija hustlers in dubai are into yahoo, drugs, runs, labour jobs. You need to have a professional degree and some experience to be among the few that have a Professional job/career. Now the question is do you have these?

Everything this guy said is 100% truth, 90% of Nigerian girls here are street girls, even the runs they don't make any money again because no body want to associate with anything Nigeria.

Did you tell her such amount is for bedspace, like 6 to 12 persons in a room, or even more persons as the case may be.

Normal bedspace starts from 500aed, multiply 500 * 126 = 63k

If you want to be a professional prostitute that eats shit and gets peed on, you can move there.

Dubai offers the best opportunity for prostitutes.

Good luck in your endeavors.

I would have given you some valuable tips & links to legal work you can do for free but I see you as unserious fellow or attention seeking trolls as we've seen many of them. I have lots of female/male friends working legally in Dubai & might be of help to you but i see you as attention seeking troll

You are very stupid to say this.
Of that 70%...50% did not have a choice.
It isn't a life they chose but pressure, deceit and depression pushed most into this.

That you are fortunate is not a yardstick to categorise every Nigerian female in Dubai as a planned prostitute.
