EggSauce: I got this TV, 70 Inch after connecting to dstv explorer, it's not clear, even when watching HD channels, can someone tell me something I'm not doing right?

Richhard: 70iches TV is quite large but the issue is that the TV is 4k. 4k means 4000pixels. Meaning your TV supports videos with pixels up to 4000p Most videos you watch on TV are 720p When the video you're watching has a lesser pixel, your TV will try and upscale it. This causes pixelation of the images on the video. DSTV HD channels aren't 4k. The only channel that might look good on your TV is Super sport. This is the reason I stopped using DSTV and switched to Internet TV. I have a 1TB HDD connected to my TV. I download movies, music videos, documentaries and series that are of high quality and watch on my TV. My TV is a Samsung 50inches UHD TV 4 Likes |

Richhard: Have you tried plugging in a flash drive and playing a 1080p video or a game console like PS4/5? If the picture quality remains the same, it means the fault is from the TV and it isn't upscaling video pictures properly. 1 Like |
