I never said it was certainly a mechanical failure due to substandard parts...I said likely.

Cursed FRSC and VIO prefer to hunt for bribes from hapless private motorists than to actually do their jobs. Commercial vehicles with a million visible violations are ignored since they pay protection money; checks on brakes, pointers, tires and sobriety are never carried out, because those animals in uniform have been paid off.

Tyre also contribute to braking distance quality

Another factor is poor maintenance. These guys hardly do thorough maintenance. They care more about money than safety

Survives in Nigeria is really a miracle, every day one must really thank God for being alive.... Life expectancy in Nigeria has drastically dropped given the possible ways one can easily loose their lives....

I'm yet to see a govt in this country that will really bring transformations to the transport sector....it's not just about building roads but let the focus shift to the vehicles plying this roads... Human lives aren't valued...most drivers have not license, FRSC is being taking bribes, pot holes everywhere the list is endless.. May God help us all. Amen

This has been happening in that particular part year in year out. That road s too tiny! Both FG and State government needs to do something swiftly. That road serves as path from Northern Nigeria to Southwestern Nigeria.
