Don't use electrolyte to top tubular battery use distilled water.

How to maintain your tubular battery.
Anytime you notice the battery performance is reduced, check the water level, if it has go down beyond the plate, find distilled water of PH 7.0 to top it.
How can you know the distilled water with PH 7.0? Only PH meter can detect that.
If you don't have the PH meter, let me recommend the distilled water have been use and confirmed , RALLY DISTILLED WATER (It is only in 4liters and 1liters) pictures below.

Never use electrolyte to top your tubular battery, it damage the plate.
Never throw the water inside the battery away, during the process you will lost all the sulphuric acid inside it.

Don't use any distilled water less than PH 5.8 and don't use anyone higher than PH 7.0

Any distilled water they write "not drinkable" for the container body is not distilled water, you must be able to drink distilled water and nothing will happen.

You need electrolyte when already pour out all the water inside the battery because through the process you have lost the acid inside.

But if it just dry, no mater how it dry the acid will stick to the plate, you only need distilled water to activate it, but if you add electrolyte in that process, it will be excess and it can damage the plate.
