Even their stance is suspect. They are not even teaching them the T-stance in the horse position. Even their instructor is a rookie. I will beat him inside 60 seconds

I thought I was the only one who noticed. Boxed stance. No rotation from the hip so less power is generated. They should be learning Krav Maga or Jujitsu. I’d like to see their shooting drills and weapon handling training.

Really the crime rate in Nigeria is too high, the country need highly trained special commandos.
I wonder why some guys want soft police force in a country where armed robbers will proudly & freely parade themselves on the streets.
But the fact is, they're not always well trained. They'll just be assembled based on connections and given some shallow orientation, then onto the field. That's the problem.

In my line of work (medicine), we don't wait until a disease fully manifests before we start to treat. We learn to envisage problems and tackle them before there are complications. And I can boldly tell you, (in Obi wan Kenobi's voice), these aren't the SWAT we're looking for.

I can see some pot belied men and women among them. Can these ones climb the rope and do a 1.5Km race in quick time. I hope they will be exposed to lots of tactical drills. Restraint too until you get the ORDER TO USE LETHAL FORCE. Finally, the rules of engagement should be well spelt out. This unit should be a last resort to respond to a crime scene unless it's confirmed the suspects are armed and dangerous.

Never seen a situation where a security unit is hurriedly put up and training started immediately unless its an active conventional war time.

Very insensitive people. You really did not see any good thing that SARS or police in charge of violentcrimes and robbery are doing before? Even with the high level of atrocity in SARS, they are still the most effective unit in police. It is the whole police that is very bad

they have to also be trained on how to engage citizens and suspects not only takwando or kungfu training.

They have to be trained on how to act professional when on duty not actiing like rascals on duty, they have to be remeinded that they are humans and treat others like humans and they shouldn't let the pride that comes with uniform and the gun get into their heads. There has to be consequence for misbehavior.

All these takwando no be Koko the main thing is being professional, human, how they treat and handle civilians
