If u are responsible, pls, as a citizen, demand for your constitution to be changed. If we must remain as a country, it is best we adopt the UK model of 6 nations and implement some tweaks to ours.

That is the only way forward. The unitary federal system that we practice can not help us achieve anything.

Take population for instance: the north can never checkmate their population becus it helps them win election. Why? It is a political rivalry between north and south!

Now, when u have a system of govt that does not encourage unitary political rivalry, that means any region can decide to explode with her population or checkmate it! This is just an aspect of the advantage!

Regions decide how to run their election and there should be equal representatives at the center irrespective of your population!
