The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 137 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 63,173. Four new deaths were recorded while there were 306 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 137 new cases are reported from 16 states- Lagos (60), Abia (21), FCT (18), Rivers (13), Kaduna (5), Oyo (4), Edo (3), Delta (2), Imo (2), Kano (2), Ogun (2), Bauchi (1), Gombe (1), Nasarawa (1), Niger (1), Osun (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 137 cases were from 16 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 60. Abia State followed with 21 cases while the Federal Capital Territory had 18 cases. 306 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 59,634 from 59,328. Four new deaths were recorded.
