The Regal water repellent paint is an upgraded version of the regular matte. It forms water beading and repels water off its surface to keep it dry, ensure its more durable and prevents growth on the wall. The surface active additive in it also makes cleaning and washing it several times possible while still retaining the water repellent property. gbadexy:Thanks sir, Existing external paint peeling off. So trying to cure the cracks as well as make waterproof. Will it still be possible to apply the base coat or existing has to be scraped? |

cjfbn:Do you mean fire retardant paint? If so no. A paint coat would be to thin to offer any significant fire retardant effect. Screeding with pop or basecoat may offer some protection though. |

Plz can emulsion paint be used on the exterior part of the building? A friend is planning to paint the exterior part of his building with emulsion since he doesn't have money to buy texcoat.And how long will emulsion paint last when used on the exterior part of building? He is planning to use ash colour. |

savvy12:He may use good quality emulsion. Budget grade emulsion could last 1 to 2 years outside. Ash is a good external colour. |
