Hello fellow Nairalanders,
For the past 1 week my MTN sim card is out of service.
I'm living in India.

Is anyone here (living outside Nigeria) facing or faced this sort of roaming issues.

Check with the local network in India if they still have roaming agreement with MTN. No issues on my end in the USA.

It's getting close to a month now,
and both MTN and the local networks here are saying no issues on their side

Why roam with MTN instead of using another service providers?
Why didn't you use the home country's service provider?
Just asking for enlightenment

I have local service provider here, but MTN is connected with banks. It's what I use for receiving bank alerts & OTPs. It's more convenient for me than email alerts.

I really need it.
