As for the questions on Accord 2003-2007 (EOD) gear-box (6cylinder), you can go for 2005 Acura TL gear box, it`s adaptable with end of discussion and slightly cheaper.

@dispenser the gear box is N140,000. Try and specify the faulty part, if it`s the catalst,let me know.

On frequent faulty C.V. Joints, ask your mechanic not to use hammer to knock-in the C.V. joint head, rather use a Turner to change it when changing your C.V. joint, `cos using hammer damages the cone inside the shaft and will cause your shaft to start making noise as soon as you have changed it.

As for the frequent enquiries on gear box, especially 6 cylinder vehicles. The most common cause of faulty gear boxes is insufficient and weak transmission oil (gear box oil). As much as you service your engines, check on the transmission oil if it has reduced or is weak or if the gear oil seal is leaking. If the oil is bad or insufficient,  irrepairable damage may have been done to the gear box if not noticed on time. The major difference between European and American specification in cars is in the body parts, mainly the lights, every other parts, the engine, the underneat are basically the same.
