@scrooge, if i can remember, your name is Chinedu & i sold 2 engine mountings & an adjuster to you and refered you to the person that sold a fairly used steering pump to you.
You came on 24th Dec. 2012, when traffic was chaotic in our area and you had to park inside Mainland hotel which had space and went from there to where the mechanic fixed the items for you and serviced your nozzles.
You called on a week after that the pump was making noise but working well. I told you to call back since the guy who sold the pump had travelled for christmas & as soon as he comes back i will ask him to replace it.
You have never called or came back as i told you and till tommorow if you come and i verify that either
the pump or adjuster or any other item i sold
to is faulty, i will have them replaced.
You never requested to know my shops which

The guy does not come across to me as that, my mechanic gave me the price of 110k for the parts he needed to change for my CRV, i got them from him at 80k, did a transfer into his account without meeting him in person and he delivered to my mechanic at Ikeja who confirmed the parts are good before fixing and i have been driven the vehicle since then without any complain.

For those asking, i will post the current prices for engines & gear-boxes of all major Honda bramds in Nigeria.

If any of your D lights is blinking, you do not need to replace your gearbox (Transmission).
Start by servicing your gearbox (solenoid) switches. Then change your transmission fluid(ATF).
That way, you may not need to change gearbox.

Replace the Holts ATF with the Honda ATF-DW1.

Facts on engine mountings,
Mountings can be made from petrochemical rubber or natural tree tapped rubber,
Natural rubber last much longer than artificial synthetic rubber
Are best in natural rubber with hydraulic fluid inside to cushion tension and reduce vibration.

Best option is to go for natural, Thailand(world biggest natural rubber growers) mountings with hydraulic fluid.

I don't know if it's a 4 cylinder or V6, but you may have to change your timing belt and set it properly and set your valves also & let's see if there is a difference.

its 4 cylinder sulev ex engine. but how much is the complete good top cylinder? just in case this does not work. Thanks
