Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 9:48am On Nov 11, 2020
And you should learn to have evidence before throwing allegations. We stated from the beginning that we wanted to see evidence. You had none. Someone else did. It is wrong and unlawful to act on mere allegations without evidence. We got the evidence now provided by someone else, not you. Seller has been sanctioned and will be removed from our platform.
We do not tolerate that kind of behavior on our platform. That is the exact reason we require every seller to provide a verifiable Government issued ID along with Phone numbers which we verify.
End of the matter

Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 9:59am On Nov 11, 2020
I believe if you read the fine print on our Terms and Conditions, you will find all the liability requirements for users and the platform. Users are responsible for their posts. However, if we find any intent to mislead or scam, then we have to act. I believe we have acted based on the picture and history you provided. It still does not prove anyone was scammed or lost money but the trail is enough to prove a misleading post. If anyone was scammed or lost money, that would be a criminal case.
We have acted.
We consider this matter closed.

Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 10:30am On Nov 11, 2020
I really should not engage you anymore on this but for posterity let me address your points:
1. Our Terms and Conditions state clearly that users are responsible for their posts. We have to see verifiable evidence before we act. That was done immediately we saw the original images and trail for the items in question
2. A user is not obligated to use his ID picture or image in his product post. Imagine a firm with more than one staff, any other staff can be in their product Ad and that would be just fine. There is no obligation to use the same image in the ID to market their product.
3. The Voters card ID used tallies with the name on the account and AD. That is a Government issued ID. By law, you have to respect that. Imagine you travel with a Nigerian passport outside the country and people begin to doubt if the name on the passport is that of the bearer. It is not done.
We also verify phone numbers using a security OTP at point of registration. Every seller can be traced, that is the way our platform is securely designed.
4. We asked repeatedly from the beginning to see some evidence, You did not provide any. Imagine this scenario, if you have competitors and they attempt to tarnish you online without evidence. That can't be right. That was why we asked for direct evidence. We got some not all and we still acted. I believe we have acted as an impartial arbiteur, and correctly too.
We are really busy here and would like everyone to move on. Seller has been terminated from the platform.

Mr Young Sammy , I believe you can read and write, even if barely. Please use civil language here. The matter has been explained, digested and dealt with. Read the posts and understand what has been said there.

Re: Incorrect post by ENIGMA24(m): 5:36pm On Nov 11, 2020
I don’t know how DMs work here, send me a mail and I’ll send you receipts of payment and explain this scam ring to you!
It’s a full blown scam ring!
It’s not just one person!
A transport company is also in on this scam!
Re: Incorrect post by ENIGMA24(m): 5:40pm On Nov 11, 2020
If you sure have this informations it means you can help me trace my money, I need to find this guys, I lost over a hundred thousand naira to this sour deal.
Re: Incorrect post by MANCHESTERBLAC(m): 12:51pm On Nov 13, 2020
Bro i have no other choice than to actually say you are the real scammer here because you modified all your topics with this are you trying to say that it the same person that posted all those dogs for sale on your website?
Why modifying others?
Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 3:53pm On Nov 13, 2020
You should be more introspective before commenting in a public forum. New users to our platform get 5 free Ads and the affected person had all those Ads posted that have now been removed. You can still see other ads, including pet ads from other seller posted. The user has been terminated, and all his Ads removed from all postings, both on our platform and externally
Don't come online and make a fool of yourself with dodgy comprehension skills.

Your request was acknowledged via email
Re: Incorrect post by NAijaNAzi(m): 1:07pm On Nov 14, 2020
Hope you're not stopping at just that?
Hope you're going to track him down through the ID he supposedly uploaded before being able to post the ad and get justice for the person scammed?
I just de observe the thread and honestly, from what I've seen, you're either in on it or just nonchalant towards your "platform's" image and neither of them are good
Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 1:40pm On Nov 14, 2020
And here comes another one who does not know how to read and understand simple English! You want to proudly post in a public forum without understanding the facts!
So what did you think the last post about email acknowledgment was about? Do you understand the meaning of the word "acknowledgment"?
The person that said he was scammed has been emailed. He needs to provide evidence of the scam and payments and we would assist him with the identity documents / phone number of the seller. That can be used to trace them. So far, he has not replied or provided any evidence.
Some of you need to go back to primary school. You clearly can't comprehend simple written English.
Let me reiterate for the less literate persons, that like to comment without reading, ENIGMA24 has been emailed. He can DM us or email us directly with the details/evidence of the scam. So far he has not done that.
Re: Incorrect post by ENIGMA24(m): 10:07pm On Nov 14, 2020
You should also understand that I have a job and it’s not like you replied any of my messages on here immediately I sent them, it is very unfair that you would expect and immediate reply from me as regards a matter when you didn’t reply immediately either, I have been busy, I just saw this and I am going to my mail now!
I hope you keep this same energy when you see all the evidences I have.
Re: Incorrect post by ENIGMA24(m): 10:38pm On Nov 14, 2020
You’ve been replied, check your mail
Re: Incorrect post by ENIGMA24(m): 11:58pm On Nov 14, 2020
There’s been a correspondence between i and the platform and they have provided me with the valid ID that allows me involve the law enforcement agencies and track down this scammer
Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 11:12am On Nov 15, 2020
I hope we all learnt a few lessons here:
- Always read the caveat on online Ads, most importantly, do not send money before seeing the product you want to purchase
It is even more sad to learn, the buyer kept sending money over even when it was apparent something was amiss. That was incredibly naive.
And to all those who were in a haste to judge, i hope the smirk of regret is beholden on you!
We would never tolerate a scam. Infact, our platform www.2dotsmarket.com is designed to be 100% scam free. No scammer can come on there and get away with it. That is why and how we are different from any other online marketplace in Nigeria. We care and would always protect our users.
This matter is closed
Re: Incorrect post by NAijaNAzi(m): 2:48pm On Nov 17, 2020
I understand English very well thanks very much.
Its just that your attitude towards the whole matter didn't speak well of someone who wants to run an open, legit platform.
I'm just saying, you should have taken down the ad the moment you heard someone was scammed and carried out your investigation instead of just leaving it so that more people would fall victim and if the owner of the ad is not guilty, putting it back up wouldn't be a problem would it?
I apologise if my post offended you
I was just stating my observation from your attitude towards the whole thing.

Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 3:08pm On Nov 18, 2020
However, you need to understand that they are processes for every type of complaint. We cannot just act based on hearsay. From the beginning we asked for evidence but only got insults and innuendos. Things do not work that way. We seek to protect both buyers and sellers, and must remain impartial till all the facts are know.
Re: Incorrect post by 2dotsproperties: 3:10pm On Nov 18, 2020
Thank you for your diligence.
People should learn to follow basic safety rules for online transactions. Never pay until you see the product/goods or pet in this case.
I hope the lesson is clear for everyone.
