Tata Vehicles are India Made

Yes.... And we're very happy to buy but laugh at our own Innoson.

Tomorrow, when India becomes like China and nigerians are still crossing the desert to get to Europe, people will start complaining.
The only way to build worldwide Nigerian brands and fight unemployment is by supporting our indigenous Industries

Nigeria is gradually turning to India. Keke should be banned in Nigeria. State taxi systems must be introduced. If you can't afford a car, get a bicycle.

All these keke napeps are assembled in Nigeria by the dealers (same thing Innoson is doing) and provide employment for several thousands of Nigerians all over the country. Personally, I believe things like car manufacturing are economically unwise for most African countries. We're better off buying cheaper good quality used cars which has proven a reliable strategy over the years, but this is a discussion for another day.

Seriously if we want good growth Nigeria govt will closed and ban so many imported things and suffer it for a while even by then you will see so many companies relocated to Nigeria to start productions. But Nigerians can't endure. This issue is beyond Innoson... see up till now Peugeot kaduna struggle to come back, Leyland motors in ibadan, Anamco in Enugu etc and other aspects beyond vehicles too. Recently a friend was telling me that they are printing the textbooks is publishing company are selling in Nigeria from India I just can't cry. see our textiles companies too... Aswani, kaduna Textile etc none is functioning again. A country were Companies are closing down and same property will purchase by religion group and turn it to worship centers.

There is no clearer indication of third world country and chronic poverty than Keke.

"The Bajaj RE 250 distinctly stands out because of a host of class leading features. The vehicle is powered by a 236cc DTSi engine, the biggest engine to ever come in a keke."

They made it with a stronger engine and that means it'll go faster than the previous? It's like they want to injure or ... more people.
The owners instead should have considered more safety features as an upgrade considering how it is used here. Not one that can now travel from Lagos to Ibadan.

Nonsense overpriced rickshaw/keke napep should be banned in Lagos cos the chaos they're causing is too much. angry

If not for bad roads and the government's lack of control of the transport sector, all these Indian companies wouldn't be cashing out of Nigeria anyhow.

Ban, ban, ban is all wicked thinking humans like you can suggest. You think those in the business of riding it wished that for themselves?
If it gets banned what do you suggest those that loose their daily income from it do? I guess hijacking u and that dead scrap you call your car would be a good start.

What have the governors, ministers, senators and representatives of the region done for Innoson? And the state assembly lawmakers plus LGA Chairmen and councillors?

Is charity no longer starting at home?

What kind of support do you specifically want for a Nigerian company to go into keke and vehicle production? The type given to Dangote and BUA?
