RuudVanNisteroy:

You have no knowledge of history and World War 2, you suffer from delusions of grandeur and low I.Q.The attacks also caused extensive damage to Japan's urban areas. Approximately 40 percent of the urban area of the 66 cities subjected to area attacks were destroyed and over 600 major industrial facilities were destroyed or badly damaged, contributing to a large decline in production. And they still rebuilt their country to become one of the wealthiest nation in the world and the most technologically advanced.

You make excuses for Nigeria's underdevelopment, but won't spare Rwanda that had to rebuild their country just two decades ago. If Nigeria had Christian leaders the country will have been developed. The foundations of majority of European nations such as United Kingdom,Denmark,Germany,Netherlands,Sweden,France,Switzerland,Canada and United States were built on Christian values.
Christian values?
aside the insults the other guys points are by far more standard than yours, you don't want him to blame the Europeans for Nigeria's problem but you are blaming Islam right? what about countries like the UAE, Saudi, Qatar and others, they were built on Christian values right? well since its a blame game let me tell you, the reason for Nigeria problem is the people same as every black nation in the world be it a muslim or Christian country because the black man is to premitive in his thinking and way of life, infact I don't think our culture should be preserved instead it should be destroyed, the average black man is greedy, short sighted, wicked, has a very low IQ (just look around you and notice how the people think).

That all can be changed with education and re-orientation.

Donkey, it is about how much they built in 63 years considering the amount of money they made from exporting our resources.

What railway ''systems''

I just told you, you dunce, that they built TWO LINES from north to south to evacuate your resources!!! Nothing else!

A proper railway system connects various cities across the nation, to boost economic activity, similar to what the current leadership are doing with the Lagos - Ibadan line, East - West Line, Itakpe-Warri line etc. Not just linking the north to southern ports for export of resources! Damn you are slow.

If a black government builds you 1 university in 63 years, will you commend them?

Of course you wouldn't. You would condemn them as looters and thieves.

The white man throws you crumbs from his table, and like a dog you lap it up gratefully and praise him to high heaven. Are you mentally ill?

ELITE secondary schools? What about the rest of the population?

So the white man comes and rules you for 63 years, loots your resources, and builds you a handful of ELITE schools, leaving you with 95% illiteracy rate at independence, and you are praising him for that?

Who did this to you?

Well they had to build a bank or two to help them siphon the money they were looting and embezzling, didn't they?

How could they have exploited you without banks?

What ''primary healthcare systems''?

Little boy, the British built a total of 11 hospitals in all of Nigeria for the masses, and 51 hospitals for their own officials, and Nigerians were barred from those 51 hospitals.

What road networks?

They were only a tiny handful of roads at independence. No roads led to villages like we have today. Back then you had to get off at the nearest road to your village and walk along bush paths, sometimes for days, before reaching your village.

Why do you think we are spending so much building new roads today across the nation? It is because we had NO ROADS. THAT IS WHY WE ARE BUILDING NEW ROADS, BRIDGES, FLYOVERS, ETC TILL TODAY, BECAUSE AT INDEPENDENCE NIGERIA WAS JUST A BUSH.

They did not ''build'' any of these things. They simple ESTABLISHED services to which they gave those titles. Those services were poorly funded and had nothing at independence. The military had no real weapons or armoury at independence. The airforce had no jet fighters. The police, fire depts etc were just that in name only, and their influence was limited to GRA, Ikoyi and other elite areas where the white officials lived. The civil service was just a bunch of clerks sitting in offices.

Brother I like your write up and your key points,

your saying the truth

Dummy, what infrastructure did the British build when we didn't even have a single power station till 4 years after they left? Kainji Dam.

THERE WAS NO ELECTRICITY WHEN THEY WERE IN POWER!!!! ARE YOU STUPID? Don't you have a brain?

Somebody rules you for 63 years , exporting your resources, and at the end you don't even have a single power plant or a national grid, yet you say they built you infrastructure. What infrastructure? With no electricity?

TUFIAKWA, you people are slaves. And you think like slaves.

Get this.

Colonialism is an exercise in EXPLOITATION.

The colonialist comes to your country to colonise you so that they can LOOT YOUR RESOURCES and enrich their home country.

That is the VERY ESSENCE of colonialism.

They are not there to develop you. Any 'infrastructure' you see, such as one university, or one rail line etc, when you check it, was built to further THEIR colonial objectives of exploitation.

For example, they needed to build one university at Ibadan so they could have a core of black civil service staff to help them administer the country on their behalf.

For example, the 2 railway lines they built were straight lines from north to south so they could move your timber, groundnuts, iron ore, tin, coal etc to the southern ports for EXPORT. The proceeds were kept in London, not used to develop Nigeria.

That is why Nigeria was still a ''developing country'' with mass illiteracy, malnutrition, and nake.d, barefooted children running around the streets at independence, despite 63 years of BRITISH RULE.

It was an exercise in EXPLOITATION.

Try to understand what COLONIALISM means.

You went to school.

Use your brain.

Tufiakwa.

your very correct
