240billion just to FEED and DEWORM children! How daft the thinking! And then less than 100billion on education and health that will greatly impact the lives of these children. It amazes me why the thinking of long-term progress has not entered the heart of our politics. It seems to elude our leaders from generations past and hitherto. We have even fallen backwards from the place the British left us. How sad! |

Can't pay 110billion for the revitalization of a over 100 government owned universities both FG and states but can delve into Elephant projects like feeding and deworming with 142billon. With 60% budget implementation they will spend at list 80 billion next year on this. Wait and see how much they will offer for the higher institutions for revitalization next year. Yet some people are expecting covid19 vaccine research in Nigeria. It's a big shame what our priorities are. |

Seriously this government is becoming more and more annoying. What is it with all these unnecessary schemes? They should create jobs, make the economy better, invest in long term achievements, create basic amenities. When all these things are available, parents will feed and deworm their children conveniently. They keep creating initiatives for citizens to take loans or be given monthly stipends when at the end of the day the money just goes down the drain since the economy itself is bad. Greed has overshadowed whatever good conscience they might have had. |

I have never met a govt as slow in thought as this one in power. Give this N142bn to ASUU, let universities resume studies. APC is running the poorest govt at a time that Nigeria is described in bad limelight as the poorest country in the whole world. I was a pupil or student under PDP govt when Nigeria was among the fastest growing economies in the world, yet there was nothing like school feeding program. And we made good results.
