Bolustical:

Nothing

Only that either of them is your surest way to power in Nigeria and not your mushroom parties that cannnot even win Councillorship grin

Since you know admit both of them are nothing, then why bother about that way to 'power' instead of seeking ways to 'devolute' that power?

Re: 2023 Presidency: Mass Defection Looms In South East PDP by Nobody: 4:36pm On Nov 15, 2020
Foolish move...a carmel will enter heaven before Nigeria gets an igbo president....APC might probably field an osinbanjo/lamido or osinbanjo/el-rufai which gives them SW and Northern Nigeria already enough to win the election...

PDP still remains a party for igbos except they want to go into oblivion by fielding atiku come 2023..... if they're smart they'll probably field Peter Obi for president and probably try to pitch zulum of borno state... They'll make a dent, but it's isn't guarantee of winning...

Truth be told SE holds little political influence to win elections, with high voter aparthy and distrust among their southern neighbors, their arrogance and bad behavior known to most nigerians it's impossible, their only hope is to push for restructuring...but APC knows that giving presidency to the SE is political suicide, na why even PDP dey fear give them because as them loyal reach PDP votes for north still pass SE

Both APC and PDP are rogues. If they like they should decamp to hell. 2023, the Nigerian Youths are ready and we will decide our party, party rule and manifesto. Not wicked souls and thieves as both parties had produced

I don't know who is filling these south east leaders with lies. Should they make this wrong move, they just gave tinubu reason to masturbate cos they will rather dine with him than any candidate of south east in the apc

Believe APC at your own peril. The South East people should thread carefully.

Even if APC zones to SE, once the PDP chooses a yoruba or Northerner, the North will vote for PDP.

The north ain't loyal to party but their Muslim cult group.

Any political party that fields an Igbo man or woman will lose the presidential elections. You may say whatever but that is the truth. Both PDP and APC know this golden fact.

This is a very unpopular position on Nairaland forum (going by the preponderance of Igbos on the forum) but we shall always state the truth.
Re: 2023 Presidency: Mass Defection Looms In South East PDP by Ezennwa(m): 4:59pm On Nov 15, 2020
hmm!

All we are asking is for APC and PDP to zone their presidential slot to Igbo.

APC should give their presidential ticket to an Igbo man, PDP should also give it's presidential ticket to an Igbo man, and the agitation for Biafra will die a terrible death.

Is that too hard for Nigerians??

As it was done to Yoruba & Hausa, when both PDP & APC fielded presidential candidates from the same Region, let it also be done to Igbo

Take a Yoruba man or a yoruba woman serious at your own peril.

They've had their own turn, but will make things difficult for Igbos to achieve their own ambition, all because of 2023

Igbos should start using long Spoon when it comes to Yoruba Politicians. They don't want Igbos to smell Aso Rock, but God pass them

The PDP, South East needs to weigh its options carefully before embarking on a journey to nowhere.

It may be tantamount to jumping from the frying pan straight into the fire.

But on a second thought, what do I know?

---The Igbos should have developed APGA, into a formidable political party with solid sets of ideology in the South-East---this would have given them a very strong voice in Nigeria today---

Ezennwa:
Obasanjo, a Yoruba man, contested against Falae another Yoruba man, let it also be done to Igbo

PDP zoned the ticket to South and Ekweme lost to Obasanjo. AD was a regional party of Yoruba and automatically their ticket was given to a Yoruba man.

No major party would do microzoning. It is either North or South.

A serious piece of advice for the Igbo:

Establish and nurture a regional party like your APGA. Ensure that it wins the governorship of all your five states. There and then you can bargain from the position of strength (and not this begging you are doing now). This was the approach of the political grandmasters from the south west. You need to learn from Tinubu not this hating on him because he did not cause your political misfortune. For now, the Igbo can not be on the ballot of any big political party. Definitely, an Igbo man will be the candidate of APGA.

I wish you the best as you seek political relevance in Nigeria.
