If Obaseki's decamping 'scattered' APC then why does the Party remain attractive enough to have swayed Umahi with more Governors likely to defect from the SE?

The difference is that the Obaseki saga was self-inflicted and the personal battle of two individuals i.e Obaseki and Oshiomhole. A Party can recover from that.

PDP cannot recover from the open disdain and disregard for an entire region, i.e the SE, Umahi has now shown the world the Party is guilty of and has no intention of rectifying. Trust me PDP will not recover from this and APC will only get stronger.

Politics is not for sentimental and emotional people. Those sort, including you and most Igbos, never win. Go ahead and keep backing the PDP. The writing is on the wall for the very unfair, desperate, callous and openly intolerant PDP.

I commend Dave Umahi for his unusual courage. Hopefully, PDP will do the right thing by giving its presidential ticket to an Igbo candidate in the next election. The era of South east slaving for the party is over. Planning to give the party’s ticket to a northerner in 2023 out of desperation for victory is a complete shame.
