what was the stupid police man thinking, that the newspapers look like weapon that's why he shot him?

There must be more to this story. This was an incident that took place in the full glare of the public and I expect a more detailed report than I have seen up here.

It will be difficult to rationalize how a body guard attached to a public office holder would just gun down an innocent Nigerian in broad daylight, despite witnessing nationwide protests against police brutality barely one month ago.
it happened at eagle square, this is not d first type d speaker do pass there. he would give those vendors money when dy hail him and move on
today as usual he was passing nd there was traffic,d road side vendors saw his convoy and started hailing,he wind down in an attempt to d tip them,d vendor that was shot approached to collect d money, that's how one of his security came from front and shoot him in d head twice.
people tried to approach there ND they started shooting in d head and speed off. not long after police men sorronded d whole area

I paused immediately I saw Saharareporters as the bearer of the news. More details of this event will be made known by other credible media outlets.

Please don't gather to hail any politician in a group. It might be mistaken as a protest especially in Abuja and Lagos. It's no longer like before.

Meanwhile e no go better for that policeman wey pull that trigger.
I know u are paid to defend anything APC,but it actually happened.
I witness it,the speaker security envoy speed off after killing the guy, they shoot at there air when people tried to come near.

If gbajagbamiala is defending the police, I can understand.

He needs relative peace to loot, and also a police to protect him and his loot.

But when one Tajudeen living in one room somewhere, practising 1-0-1 feeding system, still defends police brutality and condemns any form of protest, then it is clear he is suffering from Generational Curse.

They know that they are doomed to the system, which is why they do so. Those who are based abroad yet defend the system benefit from the malaise and will never relocate to Nigeria because they are afraid. Events from the past few months have proven that the average Nigerian politician and his/her supporter are just wicked.

Killing an unarmed individual for no reason whatsoever.

This guy, shut up! I'm sorry, but it's people like you that I was scrolling down to find. I saw this shit Coro Coro today. Glad it made news. The guy was shot because he was running with, hailing and trying to sell his papers, with others, to whoever the fvck unrecognisable unimportant to me person they say was in the convoy. And 3 shots were fired whether one or two or the three bullets hit him, idk, but an escort officer shot that guy. Even if it's to disperse from the convoy, is that right? Later the spokesperson of whoever the "vip" is will come and say they were blanks. Or this news is fake. More to which story. Mtcheew.

That secretariat has police vehicles mounted at major junctions. Only the blue uniformed secretariat police moved to do anything. It's when crowd started gathering, a police car (the white one) came to carry the body away sharply

Yet supporters of the demonic government ask for the dead bodies of those who were killed at Lekki Toll Gate. Demons!

Most useless police force in the world
The guy want shot to the air ,same way military claim to have shot to air and kill people that they deny because it's happened in the night. If this one had happened in the night they would deny it as well .

He's people should call for his resignation and have him repplaced with a petition signed from his constituency... That's how we can stop the nonsense. This one shouldn't be about the police that pulled the trigger or the tribe of the victim. Go for the "big men" ... Let us go after them with the law in numbers. If they continue perverting the law, provided we don't stop it will still show the world who they are. Justice will come one way or another if we do not relent in asking
