There has to be some balancing out for these lies where they have been proven to be untruths. Be it by design or by omission.

The courts must hear these cases of peddling of untruths by government officials.

These same government officials have been forcing these cries of fake news down the throats of media channels for so long. This is even worse than fake news.

This is a propaganda campaign by the state against its very own citizens. It sets the wrongest of precedents for future Nigerian governments if these needless evils are allowed to go unchecked or with a pat on the back.

These cases must get to court and God, nay, Nigerians must fish out and punish any corrupt judiciary official who so much as tries to frustrate the proper delivery of justice.

Foreigners like Twitter, the UK parliament, CNN and so on have done what they can do.

It’s up to Nigerians in Nigeria to do what needs to be done to sanitise the Nigerian society of these ills.

These alleged acts have been committed now so they must be addressed now or else, we might just not be alive to vote in 2023.

If the current government wants to stay in power regardless of the carnage on ground, no problem. However, it cannot be on their own terms. It MUST be on the terms of Nigerians according to the constitution regardless of economic class, ethnicity, religious leaning or gender.
